The Germans had a good idea the Allies were going to land at Salerno and were ready to move reinforcing divisions, such as the 29th Panzer Grenadier, to the beachhead. this game puts the spotlight on the 36ID area of operations and the 29th Panzer Grenadier division response to it. the German division bagan the landing spread out to the south and moved quickly to assist the 16th Panzer. the division secured the heights to the east near Altavilla and albanella and held through the first days while the bulk of the division arrived, waiting to counter-attack.

This game is the second of a 4 game set that will recreate the entire beachhead in an exceptional way. the other divisional areas will also join the series as expansions. Included is 1 mini scenario that only requires a few 11x17'' maps and a small set of counters.
