Hello awesome removal fans and Commander/multiplayer ones too! Over five previous week's I've looked at my top pinpoint removal spells for each color, but this is permanent removal not temporary ones like Auras like Pacifism or Imprisoned in the Moon or bounce like Boomerang. This also needs to be proper pinpoint not sweeping removal, like Murder vs Damnation. That's what we are finishing today with multicolored removal spell here, make sense?

Honorable Mentions
Rip Apart
When this resolves you can either Lightning Bolt a planeswalker or dork, or destroy an enchantment or artifact! If you kill what was bolted, that gives you the flexibility to destroy four potential types, as long as the planeswalker had 3 or fewer loyalty and the critter had three or fewer toughness, pretty likely that early. In multiplayer the likelihood of a killable creature or planeswalker is pretty likely with all of the targets, like Soul Warden, Birds of Paradise and Esper Sentinel to kill. There should usually be a target from Rhystic Study to The One Ring to mana dorks like Llanowar Elves. Enjoy this cheap and flexible removal!
Rite of Oblivion
This will exile an opposing nonland permanent not destroy, and it's got flashback for another two mana. But...you'll have to sac a nonland yourself, making this card disadvantage your two for their one. But if you can sac a token or Treasure? It's back to one for one trade, or a two for two rather with the flashback. Token decks are where this shines, as well as Aristocrats with their Blood Artist and such and sacrifice with Mayhem Devil.
Casualties of War
Another Black sorcery, this time in Green with a six-cost and then two in each mana color. You can destroy one each of up to five different permanents! Artifact, creature, enchantment, land and planeswalker! It's massively flexible and powerful, but that's price and sorcery speed drops it to my honorable mentions! Great removal card for every permanent type save Battles.
Terminate AND Hull Breach
Next are these two common two-cost red gold cards from the same block. The instant will destroy any dork with no regenerate like Wrap in Vigor. The Breach is a sorcery that destroys an artifact, enchantment or both so it can be a 2:1 for you. Love this cheap pair much!
#10. Deathsprout
This four-mana instant will destroy a dork and then ramp you a basic land tapped. I love that just generally as a different sort of 2:1 for you and then it's downright awesome in ramp and landfall brews!
#9. Decimate
Our highest-scoring Gruul card is this fun four-cost sorcery! You can destroy four cards for one four mana spell, a land, critter, artifact and enchantment too! The only issue is that you must do it, so its not playable without targets. Up to? It'd be Top Five easy peasy!
#8. Putrefy AND Mortify
This three-cost two color Black instants with two targets are next. The Green one can destroy a creature or artifact, no regeneration. The White one can destroy that creature, too, and then an enchantment. Enjoy this beloved duo from the same block!
#7. Maelstrom Pulse
Hello removal fans! This three-drop Golgari sorcery-speed thang is next with its destruction of any nonland and then all with that name. That last one is very keen in multiplayer formats since you can clear out tokens with the same name like Beasts or Treasures. But not lands, fair swap for the sweeping ability sometimes. Please note this will clear your stuff out too.
#6. Bedevil
This three-cost instant with no colorless in Rakdos colors is our final one before the Top Five and then also our top scoring Rakdos colored card too! It destroys three possible things, creatures, walkers of the planes and artifacts, so for the same mana overall as Hero's Downfall you can add in artifacts as a target. Great stuff here and there!
#5. Vindicate
For years this defined pinpoint removal! In many ways it could still be my top card since it can destroy a land too! Sure, that makes it sorcery speed, but that extra removal option is definitely worth it, and I'll often run it on my Orzhov decks pretty regularly after the next ones hitting a biiiiit higher. It's as iconic and influential as can be! It made the new era.
#4. Void Rend
This three mana Esper colored removal spell is next! That rough casting cost gives you an instant speed removal of anything that ain't a land! Plus, bonus points for your removing that stuff is that you cannot have this spell be countered by anything! You will answer that card, so that's nice to know!
#3. Utter End
This four-mana instant in Orzhov colors is next! It turns nonland removal of anything into exiling it instead which will end the threat forever! It'll also get past indestructible too! The only issue is that it won't hit lands and it costs one more than Vindicate and a higher hitting card. It's a classic of classics though!
#2. Anguished Unmaking
This three-cost same mana as Vindicate, instant speed will exile the same range of stuff above in Utter End for one fewer mana but you'll lose three life. Worth it! Love it loads, but what could be higher than an exiling removal spell of everything not a land?
#1. Assassin's Trophy
This Golgari two-cost instant tops it and beats out the Unmaking above. Sure, you cannot exile, just destroy, but here it's anything destroyable lands too, and then they'll ramp a basic, so they might not care that much. It's also cheaper by a mana too. This is cheaper than the other options and can hit any permanent. Please note, you cannot target your stuff for ramping, unlike Path to Exile. You might even get people to ask to be targeted for the ramp if mana screwed.
And there we go! What did you think of my list of multicolored targeted removal? I hope you liked it way much! Next week we'll be looking at my favorite White Mass removal spells instead of targeted ones for Commander and Multiplayer too!
