Hello and happiest of days to each of you! I hope that today is finding you as well as possible! Today I am looking at the titular Edge of Eternities: Commander best of cards for casual play like everything multiplayer such as Commander too as well as Five Color, Highlander, Type Four, Peasant and Pauper and tons more! All casual and kitchen table play. Remember that the Spacecrafts are here (https://www.coolstuffinc.com/a/abesargent-seo-08112025-top-5-spacecraft-for-casual-play)
Here we go my good friends and readers!
Honorable Mention #1. (#17. Overall) - Eumidian Wastewalker
This Black four-drop dork with an on-curve size at 4/4 kicks us off. It has an attack trigger to have you and the defender either discard or sac something and then you'll draw for each land that was lost or discarded. Nice, but if they have a token out like a Treasure that'll bite it instead. So, it's a bit limited in value since they will always choose the best option for themselves.
Honorable Mention #2. (#16. Overall) - Long-Range Sensor
This three-drop Red artifact is next at the 16 spot. When you attack toss a charge counter here. That's one per person attacked, just as a heads up. Spread it out for more charges. Then you can remove two at sorcery speed for one mana and it doesn't tap, so that's all of them in your post-combat phase for a discover 4. Get that free spell or card draw. Great for skating with Nate!
#15. Evendo Brushrazer
This has a ton of abilities. First when you sac a non-token you can exile the top card of your library and then cast them in our turn as long as you've sacrificed something nontoken and triggered this. Great card flow over time! Then tap this for two (R) mana for just sacking a land to trigger it. Love this great thang and its value over time right? The only issue is that is read as "sacrifice" not dies, so you need the right brew like Aristocrats not just death in combat or mass removal.
#14. Patrolling Peacemaker
Our only mono-White card is this three-drop rare artifact dork that arrives with two counters! Then when your foes commit crimes you can also proliferate nice for all of our good stuff! Note that's not once/turn, and then it makes this a bit of a Hate Bear against stuff. Good stuff for the winning fun times!
#13. Depthshaker Titan
This also artifact dork in Red this time is next! For seven-mana you get a sort of win con as your non-dork artifacts become 3/3 dorks for the turn then get sacked, and then all of them get melee, trample and haste too from them to Solemn Simulacrum! Love this thing's win-con outta nowhere!
#12. Inspirit, Flagship Vessel
This three-drop legendary leader for Commander with a Spacecraft and then a flying 5/5 size and with one station counter you can at the beginning of the combat your stuff can either get +1/+1 counters or charge ones, and then if a dork your artifacts will get hexproof and then indestructible all forever! Love this in all of the artifact or counter spaces.
#11. Insight Engine
This three-drop Blue artifact is next! It taps with two to toss a charge counter here and then draw a card for them! I love untapping this too with stuff like Kiora's Follower. Enjoy this awesome long term great card draw machine!
#10. Baloth Prime
This four-drop mono-Green 10/10 enters with six stun stuff so it'll take some time before untapping and swinging at your foe or blocking and then when you sac a land for anything you can make a free 4/4 Beast token and then untap or pull off a stun counter here! Then you can make that happen with four mana to sac one to gain a pair of life.
#9. Hearthhull, the Worldseed
This other legendary Spacecraft Commander-able is next. This is a four-drop Jund colored dork with a 6/7 flying, hasted and vigilance one. At two counters you can tap to for one to sac a land and then draw two and get Explored too. Then on eight when you sac those lands gain a pair of life! I adore the ramp and card draw potential here more than the counter one, hence it hits a little higher.
#8. Scouring Swarm
This three-drop Golgari colored flying 1/1 can be our landfall copy game-winner like Scute Swarm. And if you don't have that you'll make a 1/1 but here flyer. This one needs a land sac trigger and then you need a threshold of those lands in your graveyard, instead the Scute one in play, so that one is easier to trigger than this one. Not bad right?
#7. Kilo, Apogee Mind
This fun three-drop legendary deck leading hasted Sultai-colored on curve 3/3 is next! It arrives with a strong tap ability for anything to proliferate! You know much us casual players love us proliferate too with counters of all stripes beloved. Then you can trigger his ability when he swings or give him a tap ability like Paradise Mantle or pinging with Viridian Longbow. Love his potential very much!
#6. Moxite Refinery
Here you are about to see that love for everything counter in our casual town. This two-drop artifact taps for two at sorcery speed to remove counters from a critter or artifact we control and then add them as charges on a rock or +1/+1 counters on a dork. Great stuff for the wining fun times! Now Top Five Time!
#5. Szarel, Genesis Shepherd
Our highest-scoring Commander eligible dork is this five-drop 2/5 size dork with flying and then in Jund colors with the ability to play lands from your graveyard like a Crucible on Commander and Dork legs! Then you can turn your sacs of cards, not tokens into size boosting counters onto one dork equal to this person's power...and you cannot choose this Insect Druid. But the next four are much better and massively on a higher plateau, all close but far up from this one
#4. Solar Array
You all know how much I adore Manaliths with boosts. This one taps for any color and then your next artifact spell has sunburst too! I adore that in every brew with a few colors and then you can grow it with charge or +1/+1 counters equal to each mana color you spend without you know, needing to spend extra mana and Fellwar Stones and Manaliths will do it outside of your Commander's Identity! I love this's potential on dorks like Solemn Simulacrum to artifacts that care about charge counters too. Get this and try it out I think you'll be gently surprised at how good it plays!
#3. Surge Conductor
You know what casual and Multiplayer aficionados like more than Mana Rocks with powerful boosts? Proliferate like Karn's Bastion in colorless form that any deck can or abuse in this one's case. When this three-drop dork of the artifact persuasion arrives you can make all of your other nontoken artifacts ETB to proliferate, and there are no more brakes there like once/turn. Are you kidding me? Nasty!
#2. Horizon Explorer
The three-drop good defense 2/4 for blocking like Six is next. Lands you control ETB untapped? Are you kidding me? Done! That's just nasty good in all of tempo places from Karoos to getting lands with Terramorphic Expanse and Cultivate untapped! Then when you swing at a player you make a mana free Lander, on per player attacked for ramping.
#1. The Cycle and Check Lands
Next up is this four-set of Boros and Golgari colored lands. Boring I know that are duals. The cycle lands are where I'd start beause I prefer cyling for colorless to dig for answers or combos or just if I topdeck it after my mana is set to coming into play untapped later in the game. Enjoy this four set way much!
There we go! I hope you enjoyed this way much! Next week the previews for the Spider-Man set haven't finished yet, so I am giving you my Top Commons for Casual Play. Check it out!
