Hello and happiest of days to each of you! I hope your day is going as well as possible! Today is my 3rd Top Ten around the Spider-Man themed set for all things casual either at home at the kitchen table or at the local card store. This is stuff good for all things multiplayer as well as things like Commander, Five Color, Highlander, Type Four, Peasant and Pauper too. Now since the new cards from the Commander set are specifically designed for casual play, I spend some time first with the base set before moving on and grabbing it. Ready?
Honorable Menton #1. (#18. Overall) - Ultimate Green Goblin
As you all might know, I recently did a Madness Commander brew in the Temur color combo here (https://www.coolstuffinc.com/a/abesargent-09022025-temur-madness-with-flubs-the-fool-in-commander) and then my Top 5 Madness Commanders here - https://www.coolstuffinc.com/a/abesargent-seo-08182025-the-best-madness-commanders-in-Magic - he would make It too. In your upkeep, discard for a Treasure to ramp. And you can cast it with madness or mayhem too in this set or flashback too - and he's got that mayhem for his cost too.
Honorable Mention #2. (#17. Overall) - Venomized Cat
This fun little Black common Cat is fun with a three-drop 2/3 with deathtouch and then when it arrives you mill two too! With deathtouch you can keep away and then add to your graveyard too!
Honorable Mention #3. (#16. Overall)- Biorganic Carapace
This fun Azorius four-drop Equipment with a two equip cost and then when it arrives gives you a free equip too! It pumps the size by two and then as it deals that sweet combat damage, you'll draw one per modified dork you have - that's going to be one here, and then who knows how many more you'll have too! I think the mad card draw potential here is huge! Drop it, free equip, pump and refill that hand too!
#15. Cheering Crowd
This is a fun multiplayer two-drop Rare Bear dork that gives everyone mana! It's in Gruul colors, in each player's main phase they can toss a counter here and then make that many counters in colorless mana! You all know how much I adore stuff like Veteran Explorer and then this too. You'll make friends and then help folks, often yourself, get out of early game mana screw! Let folks play their game their way!
#14. Rocket-Powered Goblin Glider
I enjoy Equipment that gives haste, evasion and then other stuff too without being hard to answer like Lightning Greaves, such as Sword of Vengeance or Strider Harness. Enter this three-drop two equip and then mayhem two as well! It's got flying, haste, and a two boost to power, and then it even be a free equip if cast from your graveyard! Like the first scoring dork today!
#13. Mary Jane Watson
This Selesnya legendary Rare Bear with a kindred caring identity is next! You'll draw when a Spider ETBs, without any special stuff, but just once per turn as her limitation. She's great with the various Spider Men stuff right now as well as classics like Silklash Spider or just changelings too. She feels more like a support piece for those roles, and not the feature attraction - but that's fine for my 3rd Top List.
#12. Supportive Parents
Who likes fun on-curve Green weird Mana Dorks? I got you! This three-drop 3/3 uncommon will let you tap two dorks for a mana of any color! Love this fun option in places like going wide or making mana to cast stuff, or with X spells too. Check it out and try it out!
#11. Silk, Web Weaver
This fun four-drop 3/5 webslinging for three Selesnya legendary lady has a great creature-cast trigger to make a 1/1 for the chump or going wide too. You can also pump your stuff by +2/+2 and give them vigilance for five mana sink mana here over and over again. Love her in most creature heavy brews; quite often in her colors. She's fun to run in the sun.
#10. Two Mana Dorks

Next up are these two common Green mana tappers. The better one is the Gruul Bear with reach and taps for Gruul mana and then you can untap when you cast pricey stuff with no once/turn stuff there! Also, Spider! Then the three-drop one with 2/3 size and taps for any color instead, and then at sorcery speed taps with three for a counter on Spiders - great together!
#9. Lizard, Connors's Curse
This fun four-drop 5/5 trampler Green legendary rare is next! When it arrives you can make another creature have a 4/4 size and lose all abilities. It doesn't end either. It's a great way to answer opposing Commanders for that reason! It's nice and fun.
#8. The Spot, Living Portal
This Orzhov legendary dork for five mana and 4/4 size with a fun ETB exile two things, one from a graveyard and then the other in play that aren't lands. Then when he dies, put him on the bottom of the library and then return them to hands. That can be used for you to protect or recur or our foe's stuff to remove it for a while. Nice and interesting and flexible too. Love them!
#7. J. Jonah Jameson
This rare Red legendary leader is next! When he arrives, you can suspect a dork and then when your menaced stuff swings you can make a ramping Treasure. Note that's worded to work for each one, so he can really dole out those Treasures in a menace brew or even just one with their Commander.
#6. Rhino, Barreling Brute
This fun Gruul uncommon seven-drop legendary dork with a rough cost, but good stats at 6/7 and three great keywords in haste, trample and vigilance to attack now with haste and evasion, and then vigilance to hold up defenses. Then when he gets his swing on, then you can draw if you've cast a 4 or pricier thang this turn, so that's great with dorks or spells - I built around him first in Commander, here (https://www.coolstuffinc.com/a/abesargent-09162025-gruul-big-stuff-beats-brew-with-rhino-barreling-brute) but that was before many of the things in this color combo did the same like the previous hitting Spider Manifestation and such, so add those too.
#5. Aunt May
This fun Soul Warden variant in uncommon and in a one-drop but different body as an 0/2 is next. You'll gain that life when your stuff arrives, half of it normally since your foes cannot add, worse in multiplayer. But you can grow your stuff that arrives with a counter if a Spider type. Nicely done, right? Yuppers puppers!
#4. Hydro-Man, Fluid Felon
This two-drop Bear rare in mono-Blue is a fun flavor-forward legendary Villain. As you cast Blue stuff toss a counter here if he's a dork. Then in our end step he becomes an Island and untaps too. Good to go, Idaho!
#3. Shadow of the Goblin
This fun Red two-drop enchantment is next with two triggers. In your main phase you discard and then draw. Then when we cast stuff or drop lands not from our hand we can ting each foe for a damage. That's great for graveyard casting like mayhem or flashback, exile like Act on Impulse or Madness and even Command Zone too. That's just a strong win-con for the masses, right? I think so too!
#2. Symbiote Spider-Man
This three-drop 2/4 Dimir rare Spider Hero is next! This has a combat damage trigger to dig that many cards and then draw one! The rest head to your graveyard for more recursion, flashback, delirium and more. Get this fun little combat damage card draw way better than stuff like Shadowmage. In your graveyard you can spend three to exile it and pump and give that ability to a creature of yours. Enjoy this much!
#1. Superior Spider-Man
Everyone love things like Clones too. This four-drop Dimir one arrives and can copy a dead dork, but keeps this's name, size at 4/4 and types. Then you'll exile it so it's a one of, not bad though. And it can be any graveyard not just yours that's copied too. Embrace this all up and down the block!
