MagicCon Amsterdam is happening this weekend in the Netherlands. Fans have taken over the land of tulips and windmills to celebrate the greatest game of all time.
For this year's Amsterdam event, there are a whopping three different releases featured across the preview panels.
The very first one, titled The Secret Lair Reveal-A-Thon, showed off several awesome upcoming releases.
Let's check out all the exciting goodies we got a peek at today.
Hatsune Miku Commander Deck
The panel kicked off with the reveal of the next specialty Commander deck release.

Fans of the famous vocaloid have gotten a handful of Secret Lair drops in the past. Now they'll have their chance to get an entire deck themed around her.
We got a look at five cards with new Hatsune Miku artwork:
- Shalai, Voice of Plenty (as Miku, Voice Over All)
- Archangel of Thune (as Archangel of Tunes)
- Trostani, Selesnya's Voice (as Miku, Song of the People)
- Borderless Plains
- Borderless Forest
- Song of the Worldsoul
The full decklist and further details won't be made public until closer to release day. Be sure to mark your calendar for this one!
Superdrop of the Moonlight Jellies
We also got a look at a surprisingly cozy collaboration: Secret Lair x Stardew Valley. Titled "Superdrop of the Moonlight Jellies," this release features three drops based on the beloved indie game.
All three Lairs go on sale on July 27th. In addition to the three individual Lairs, three bundles will be available for the die-hard fans who want to get their hands on everything.
Welcome to Stardew Valley
First off, we have the Welcome to Stardew Valley Lair.
Each of these cards emulates the pixelated look of the game while showcasing familiar characters and settings. Seven of the eight cards in this release are reprints, along with one all-new card titled Stardew Valley.



Here's the full list:

This Lair will be available for $39.99 in non-foil and $49.99 in foil.
Life in Pelican Town
The second Lair in this Superdrop is Life in Pelican Town.
Each of these cards does exactly what the title suggests: depicts locations of Pelican Town and the people within it. Four of the cards here are Lands, including powerful staples like Homeward Path and Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth.
In addition, you'll be able to get your hands on a special Crop Rotation to help you fetch each of them.



In this drop, we'll find:
- Crop Rotation
- Fountainport (as Community Center)
- Homeward Path (as Pelican Town)
- Command Tower (as Tower of Rasmodius)
- Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth (as Valley Farmstead)
This Lair will be available for $29.99 in non-foil and $39.99 in foil.
A Flicker in the Deep
Last but not least is the third Lair, A Flicker in the Deep.
Now, you too can yearn for the mines with this awesome release. As you delve into the mines of Stardew Valley, you'll encounter Treasure Vaults, Big Slimes, and Royal Serpents. Cozy or not, what's a video game without a little danger?



The last of the drops will include:
- Atsushi, the Blazing Sky (as Royal Serpent)
- Mitotic Slime (as Big Slime)
- Arcane Signet
- Sword of Forge and Frontier (as Galaxy Sword)

The Hobbit: A Marvelous Mathom Superdrop
Next up was the reveal of a Superdrop supporting the upcoming release of The Hobbit.

While we didn't get to see everything, a handful of cards were shown off. These included:
- A Borderless Scroll-treatment Arcane Heist. A special silver ink foil version was also revealed.
- A Stony Silence featuring the famous story moment where a group of trolls are turned to stone at sunrise.
- A Sol Ring with Smaug and his hoard of treasures.
- A heavy metal-inspired Diabolic Intent depicting Gandalf facing off against the Goblin King.
Last but not least, one full drop was shown off, depicting seven specialty Food tokens.

Each of these gorgeous tokens depicts one of the many meals that Hobbits are known to enjoy. Yes, that does include Second Breakfast.
This Superdrop goes on sale August 17th. We'll likely see the remainder of these Lairs the week before, so keep your eyes peeled for more information.
A Perfectly Normal Superdrop
Next up comes A Perfectly Normal Superdrop, set to release on September 1st.

This Superdrop features four Marvel lairs, a surprising IP collaboration, and three artist showcases. This information does come secondhand so the names may not be accurate.
Marvel Pets
First off is Marvel Pets, a look at some of the fiercest animals of the Marvel Universe. These include a Lightning Bolt with Throg and a Shark Typhoon with the beloved Jeff the Shark on them.

Here are the six cards you can expect to see in this Lair:
- Commune with Dinosaurs

Marvel Romance Covers
Next up is a selection of cards reskinned to look like romance novels featuring Marvel characters.
Several of these are well-known couples, like Rogue and Gambit on Thrill of Possibility or Steve Rodgers and Peggy Carter on Savor the Moment.
The one that got the biggest response from fans was easily Grave Pact, depicting Thanos courting Death.

You'll be able to find all of these within this Lair:

The Incredible Hulk
The third Marvel-centered release is all about The Incredible Hulk.
The mean green machine is depicted here from various stories on five classic cards. Unnatural Growth, Anger, and Gratuitous Violence are all phenomenal representations of this fan-favorite character.
You'll be able to smash your way to victory with these cards in the Lair:

- Rishkar's Expertise (as Joe Fixit's Expertise)

Featuring Dan Hipp
The last of these Marvel Lairs is a collaboration with illustrator Dan Hipp.
Dan is known for doing a lot of work in comic books over the years. These include everything from Marvel to the Cartoon Network favorite Teen Titans GO! Now, he's here with some stylish new art for a variety of Magic cards, including a red-hot reprint of Bristly Bill, Spine Sower.
Check out everything included in this sweet Lair:

Secret Lair x Lofi Girl
Moving on from Marvel, let's take a look at the one other IP featured in this Superdrop: Secret Lair x Lofi Girl.

The iconic visual representation for "Lofi Beats to Study to" comes to Magic with a set of five cards.
Naturally, this includes the classic-style art of Lofi Girl on the powerful Careful Study card. Also included are stellar reprints for Merchant Scroll and Starfield of Nyx.
Here's the full breakdown of the Lair's contents:
- Careful Study
- Paradise Mantle (as Cozy Headphones)
- Merchant Scroll (as Grandma's Scroll)
- Felidar Guardian (as Lofi Cat)
- Starfield of Nyx (as Snowman Starfield)
Secret Lair x Gene Luen Yang
Next up is the first of three artist-focused Lairs, with the first centered around cartoonist Gene Luen Yang.
Yang is a Chinese-American artist and this release celebrates one of the most famous Chinese stories: Journey to the West. Each of the four major characters have been reskinned Magic favorites with an additional reprint of Quest for Renewal within.
You'll be able to acquire each of the following in this Lair:
- Kibo, Uktabi Prince (as Monkey, Awakened to Emptiness)
- Ilharg, the Raze-Boar (as Pigsy of the Eight Precepts)
- Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs (as Sandy, Awakened to Purity)
- Dosan, the Falling Leaf (as Tripitaka, Seeker from Tang)
- Quest for Renewal
Secret Lair x Robin Eisenberg
The second of these artist collaborations features the works of Robin Eisenberg.
Robin has done tons of stunning pieces for Thrasher, Vans, Urban Decay, Adult Swim, Apple, and HBO, just to name a few.
For this release, she brings her signature style to a handful of incredible cards. Most notable of these is easily Sway of the Stars, a card that was on the Commander ban list for many years before being taken off the ban list in April 2025.
Here's all five cards included in this Lair:
- Sage of Hours
- Orvar, the All-Form
- Slip Through Space
- See Double
- Sway of the Stars
Secret Lair x Ian Miller
The last of this Superdrop's Lairs is one featuring an older Magic artist: Ian Miller.
Ian did artworks for several iconic cards in the Mirage block and Fifth Edition. These include fan favorites like Brushwagg, Taniwha, and Viashivan Dragon.
Ian's been given the opportunity to do special variant pieces in recent years for the likes of Damnation, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth; and Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire.
Now he's back once again with a Lair all his own. This includes one of each of the following:
- Shivan Dragon
- Tsabo Tavoc
- Korvold, Fae-Cursed King
- Animar, Soul of Elements
Masters of the Universe
The final reveal of the panel unveiled an upcoming collaboration with Mattel's Masters of the Universe series.
Very little was shown apart from a brief trailer and some pieces of art. These include He-Man wielding his sword, the forces of Skeletor (done in the style of the original show), and She-Ra.
More information will be revealed closer to when the cards go on sale, September 14th.
The Chaos Vault Opens Once More
In addition to all these sweet new reveals, we also got the wide release of Secret Lair x Marvel: Spinner Rack Specials.

This was touted as an exclusive release for MagicCon Amsterdam. For those unable to attend the event, you can pick up your copies over at the Chaos Vault website.
Included are five retro comic book-style art versions of the following cards:
- Hammerhead, Maggia Boss
- Undead Hand Ninja
- Hex Magic
- Tippy-Toe, Terrific Partner
- Baxter Building
Both Hex Magic and Tippy-Toe, Terrific Partner have become instant fan favorites since the release of Marvel Super Heroes. If you want to get some particularly stylish versions of these cards, here's your chance.
Despite this release going up several hours ago, it is still readily available in both foil and non-foil. Non-foil copies are available for $29.99 each and foil ones are available for $39.99.
Conclusion
Secret Lair continues to bring some of the coolest and stylish treatments to Magic. Many of these are likely to be super popular and difficult to acquire, so stay ready if you're hoping to get your hands on some of them.
