This weekend at PAX a playable version of Duels of the Planeswalkers 2014 will be available, and this year's version will be bigger than ever. For the first time Duels will be available on Android.

The usual set of game play modes and features are part of this year's release as well:

• 10 Brand New Decks
• 15 New Encounters
• 10 New Puzzle Challenges
• New Game Mode
• Multiplayer Game Play
• First look at cards from the Magic 2014 - Core Set releasing later in the summer

As part of the announcement a potential new card from Magic 2014 has also been revealed, the latest mythic flying creature for 5 mana: Shadowborn Demon.

This announcement also confirmed the planeswalker lineup for Magic 2014 will feature the same planeswalkers as Magic 2013: Ajani, Liliana, Garruk, Jace and Chandra. The Duels teaser trailer certainly confirms Chandra in some form:

And as a final note, this year's "Magic Celebration" will be held on September 7, 2013. In its third year, this event allows players to learn and play Magic using Magic 2014, via the Pack Wars format, for free at local game stores.
