Iyanaga, Japan & Duke win at Worlds 2011


Today saw the conclusion of the 2011 World Championships with Jun'ya Iyanaga claiming the title of individual World champion, winning 3-0 over Richard Bland of the UK. They overcame a Tempered Steel heavy top 8 to earn their top finishes. Along with their individual wins, it was Team Japan who came out on top for the Worlds Team competition, defeating Norway in quick order. For Magic Online Championship Series it was Reid Duke, columnist for StarCityGames, who defeated Florian Pils to win the MOCS title.
