Welcome back to the Weekly Sale Column. Every week brings another batch of cards worth looking through, whether you're upgrading an old favorite or looking for an excuse to shuffle up something completely different. Remember, the weekly sale ends Sunday night at 11:59 PM EST.
For this week's Silver Lining sale, we're taking Knight typal about as literally as possible with Aurelia, the Warleader, and 43 copies of Templar Knight.
What is Knight After Knight?
Knight After Knight is a Templar Knight Combo deck in Boros (![]()
) colors built around assembling five Templar Knights and using them to Tutor up exactly what the deck needs when it needs it.
Most games aim to pair Aurelia, the Warleader, with the right Legendary Artifacts for infinite combats, but Thrumming Stone gives the deck another way to close things out when the stars don't align.

Calling All Knights
So, 43 copies of Templar Knight may look excessive, but the deck really does want to see as many of them as possible. Thanks to Vigilance, once you have five Knights, they can all attack, stay untapped, and then tap together to search for a Legendary Artifact.
Pearl Medallion and Oketra's Monument help speed the deck up by reducing each Knight to just one mana, while the Monument also creates a 1/1 Warrior every time you cast a Creature spell.
And since assembling five Knights can still take a couple of turns, Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and Fellwar Stone provide some extra acceleration to help get the deck's combo online even faster.
One Good Swing Deserves Another
Once Aurelia, the Warleader and five Templar Knights can attack together, the deck gets to execute its game plan:
- Attack with Aurelia and five Templar Knights: before Aurelia's trigger resolves, tap the five Knights and pay
to search for Hammer of Nazahn (Black Panther's Claws) and put it onto the battlefield. - Resolve Aurelia's trigger: untap the team and get an additional combat phase.
- Still in the first combat, tap the Knights again: pay another
to find Helm of the Host, which Black Panther's Claws immediately attaches to Aurelia. - Move to the second combat: Helm triggers and creates a nonlegendary Aurelia token with Haste.
- Attack with the new Aurelia token: since the token is attacking for the first time that turn, it creates another combat. Then, Helm makes another copy at the start of that combat, and the loop is officially underway.
From there, Aurelia will keep calling for another round of combat until the table gets the message.
The Ripple Effect
Oh, your opponent has a Propaganda up and attacking just isn't in the cards? Templar Knight can also search for Thrumming Stone, which gives your spells Ripple 4.
In a deck running 43 copies of the same Creature, casting just one more Knight can quickly start chaining through the rest of the deck. Better yet, Ripple actually casts each Knight it finds, so Oketra's Monument triggers off of them and creates a 1/1 Warrior for every Knight along the way.
Add Impact Tremors to the mix, and both the Knight and the Warrior that follows can ping each opponent as they enter.
So, even if combat happens to be off the table, you can rest assured your 43 Knights are still more than capable of finding another way through.
Protecting the Round Table
Of course, getting five Templar Knights together only matters if they actually stick around long enough to attack.
That's why the deck packs plenty of ways to protect the board, whether it's Restoration Magic keeping a key permanent alive or Flare of Fortitude saving everything at once when a board wipe inevitably comes down.
And with so many deck slots already devoted to Knights, flexibility matters too. Sejiri Shelter // Sejiri Glacier can protect a Creature or simply be a
mana source, while Witch Enchanter // Witch-Blessed Meadow offers similar flexibility by doubling as either a Land or removal for troublesome Artifacts and Enchantments.
Witch Enchanter can be particularly important when something like Cursed Totem or Stranglehold can shut off the entire deck before the Knights ever get their chance to shine.
Final Thoughts
Knight After Knight wants to get five Templar Knights into combat, let them find exactly what Aurelia, the Warleader needs, and turn one attack into as many combat phases as it takes to end the game. So, if this sounds like the kind of Silver Lining that you've been looking for, then this sale has plenty of cards worth grabbing before Sunday night at 11:59 PM EST.
