CoolStuffCon Orlando is just around the corner in about two months and while you're not slinging cardboard or visiting our buy table, you'll be able to meet some of Magic's most prolific content creators.

Today, we're going to highlight one of them: MTGNerdGirl!

If you had preordered any of Avatar: The Last Airbender (TLA), you may have received her 1/1 Ally token. While Avatar was a fantastic set, she's been around the MTG community for quite a bit and has set a high bar as to what content creation for Magic players should be.

Let's take a look at what she's done so far.

Set Reviews, Commander Games, & More

One of the biggest draws to Magic is the fact that you can play it in so many different ways. You can play 60-card formats like Standard or Modern. You can Draft 40-card decks with fresh packs. You can even play 100 of your favorite cards in Commander.

MTGNerdGirl decided she should be doing all of it as a creator. After all, why not go for as much of your target audience as possible?

MTGNerdGirl's YouTube

Her main YouTube Channel @MTGNerdGirl focuses on Limited Magic, played primarily on MTG Arena.

While this channel dabbles in a little Constructed Standard, its main draw is the Limited aspect. She does Drafts on Arena along with Limited Set Reviews for each set that comes out.

The set reviews are great because they're split out by color, including separate videos for just multicolor and colorless cards as well, so you can really figure out exactly how to evaluate cards for the next set you'll be Drafting.

She also has a column called Brainstorm Buddies, where she and another creator discuss various topics in Magic, such as the state of a format like Standard or Limited or even if a particular set is good.

Decked Out EDH

Her Commander-based YouTube channel is Decked Out EDH, where she works with a few other creators like Veggie Wagon and Maldhound to pump out absolutely delightful and informative Commander content.

They do everything from playing actual games of Commander with various content creators to chatting about some of their favorite cards for Commander in each set.

You can usually find a few fresh games of Commander after each set release, highlighting some of the newer Commander options for each set. For The Hobbit (HOB), for example, they had a game with The Great Goblin, Gandalf, Party Guest, Bard, King of Dale, and Thranduil, the Elvenking.

Anything else?

In addition to her MTG content, MTGNerdGirl also likes to attend events like MagicCon and even local events, while also being active on various social platforms.

She also supports Extra Life, a charity that supports local Children's Miracle Network hospitals through gaming-related fundraisers.

Aside from her YouTube channels, you can find her on a few different socials:

If you find yourself at CoolStuffCon in a Draft with her, best of luck, because you can bet that she'll know the set inside and out.
