Colony is a game about creating engines, developing resources, and using the dice you get each turn to their maximum effect.
There are two types of resources you attain in Colony:
Stable Resources are the white dice. These resource stick around after your turn to be used in subsequent turns.
Unstable Resources are the frosted grey dice. These are only available on your turn, so use them before you lose them!
CHIPI tokens(Cybernetic Holder of Instant Production Improvement) allow you to store unstable resources between turns; the catch is the player doesn't know what resource they'll end up with (after all, the resources are unstable).
Incredible Replayability
Colony is played using a variety of the whopping 150 cards included.
Each play through will include some amount of "Basic" resource cards that all players use. But beyond that, you can mix and match your game to your playstyle.
Want more "take that" interactions? You can choose to include the "Attack" cards such as the Pirate or Robber.
Looking for more player interaction? Try the "Trading" cards like Pawn Shop or Black Market.
The sky is the limit when it comes to the incredible variation you and your playgroup can have with each session of Colony.
Custom-Molded Plastic Tray for Easy Storage and Cleanup
Colony features a custom plastic insert tray with exact cutouts for all of the cards, tokens, and both types of dice.
This will allow you to stay organized from game to game, and facilitates easy cleanup.
The tile that explains which cards go in each slot doubles as a 'lid' of sorts to ensure that your stable dice, unstable dice, and CHIPI tokens stay firmly enclosed as the box is in motion.
