Ramp Master

Modern is characterized by hyper efficient aggro and midrange decks. There are only really two ramp decks with consistently strong performances: either Urza Tron decks or Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle decks. Occasionally, we see people trying to leverage the Arbor Elf and Utopia Sprawl combination, but never quite like this:

Kiora, Master of the Depths
This is an exciting deck that combines Arbor Elf and Utopia Sprawl to generate as much as 4 mana on the second turn of the game and power out threats very quickly. What's different about this deck is that it commits harder to the Utopia Sprawl plan by including Voyaging Satyr, Overgrowth, and even Kiora, Master of the Depths to make casting even threats like Craterhoof Behemoth a possibility.

A bunch of singleton creatures backed up by Summoner's Pact means that you have the ability to find key creatures for particular matchups, such as Wilt-Leaf Liege against discard effects or Hornet Queen against creature decks. You can even find Primeval Titan and get yourself a Kessig Wolf Run or other utility land.

One of the key powerhouses in this deck is Tireless Tracker. You can ramp it out early and the mana engine in this deck means that you'll be able to crack all the clues you can generate, unlike some other midrange decks which can struggle to find opportunities to actually leverage their extra clues.

All in all, this seems like an exciting, flexible deck. Using Kiora over Garruk Wildspeaker lets you untap your Arbor Elves and generate even more mana than other variations of this deck. Some variations play cards like Primal Command to loop with Eternal Witness, or even Collected Company to make the Tireless Tracker plan more consistent. This deck is more about setting up an early Craterhoof, which makes you better at racing combo decks, but somewhat worse at trying to value your opponent's out.

Regardless, if you want a big mana deck that doesn't rely on Valakut or Urza's Tower, this seems like a fantastic choice that walks the line between a ramp deck and a toolbox creature deck. In a format like Modern where high impact singletons can change everything about a given matchup, that seems like a good place to be.
