On Jan. 22, at 12:51pm NZDT, Christchurch, New Zealand was struck by a 6.1 point earthquake. At that time our writer, and Magic financial guru, Kelly Reid, was in Christchurch as part of his Untapped World Tour. It was a tense few hours as we, and many others, tried to get in touch with him.

At 12:23am EST, we received a brief email from Kelly saying, "I'm safe. More later." He followed it up with a tweet nearly an hour later:

So we will look forward to the tails from his trip, what he underwent during the earthquake, and more. Until then, we can all simply rest easy knowing he is okay.
