Your dwarf clan has beeen chosen by King Grimsteel to mine the vast riches buried within Treasure Mountain. You must dig deep, keep your axes close, and beware of the pillaging dragons that inhabit the mountain in search of treasure.
Dwarf clans earn victory points by mining gems, earning gold, building mines, and fighting dragons. The clan with the most victory points at the end of teh game gains the favor of King Grimsteel and wins the game!
Treasure Mountain features a truly unique take on the worker placement genre, implementing a strategic and fun worker dislodging mechanic. Each player's worker meeples have a number on them, and if a player has claimed a space on the board, that worker can be dislodged if another player places a meeple there with a larger number.
If a worker meeple is dislodged, its controller may immeidately place it somewhere else and take another action, even dislodging another player's meeple with an even lower number! However, a player may never dislodge their own workers. This intricate meeple bumping mechanic adds new layers of strategy to worker placement!
