Hello happiest of days to you folks and I hope your day is going super mega well one of your best ever! Today I am looking at one of several new Dimir graveyard matters stuff from Final Fantasy.
This three-cost 2/4 size guy is first with vigilance to swing and then an ETB and attack to loot a card. Brillant card flow. Then in our upkeep if we have double threshold we can flip to the 6/6 beater and then you can play cards from your graveyard and then they are exiled. A Yawgmoth's Will on a permanent is nasty. Hence the exiling break and double threshold here too and waiting a turn as well.
Let's break this!
Mana, Ramp, Lands
Hello land and ramp fans, let's get started with milling ramp bodies here. The 0/1 colorless two-drop mills you one for a colorless and then the Blue common 1/1 does the same. Then the just printed three-drop 5/5 with flying, trample and haste will tap and mill and then make a colored mana this time, and then will be a dork if you have threshold at 8 this time though.
From mana dorks to sacs, check out this pair of one-drop commons that tap to sac for a land and then can be recast when my dork flips. The FF one will sac for 1 and search for a basic or three for any land. Then the older one will tap for two sac and then get any land. Get Academy Ruins first and recur this.Stonespeaker Crystal taps for two and then tap and sacs for 2 to draw and Bojuka Bog your foes. Burnished Hart sacs for three and then ramps two basics. I also tossed in Commander's Sphere and Mind Stone too.
The first must-play land is the legendary Geier Reach Sanitarium that taps for two and then has everyone draw and discard too. The channel lands like Takenuma, Abandoned MIre are brilliant here since they head to your graveyard for their cost and then do something, and the Black one is best here. I love the dual land fetchable cycle like Fetid Pools as well. I tossed in all of the cycling lands to give us the packed graveyard to flip us.
Now let's turn to these two Black identity rare lands. The colorless tapper will tap with three Dimir mana to have someone mill 3 cards, you early and then maybe your foes later to kill them. The Adventure land has three mana to sac an artifact or dork and I tossed in Treasure Vault too. Spymaster's Vault taps for Black and can enter untapped at times. You can tap this for Black and then have your dork connive equal to the creature kill too. Then the uncommon land Dakmor Salvage can tap for Black and then has dredge two so you need to get it to your graveyard with mill and then get it back and fill it up more.
Synergies and Win-Cons
Now let's turn to synergies and win-cons! The three-drop enchantment in your upkeep will toss a couple of counters here and then mill that many, then if you would draw from an empty library, you instead will get a free Zombify. The Blue uncommon Incarnation costs four and has a smaller 2/2 body, but if in your bin your stuff gets flying if you have an Island. The Black dork costs five for a larger than curve 6/6 flyer and trampler with double evasion. Nice! You can spend two life to surveil two, no mana or tapping! Love that here loads.
The rare Black spell Incarnation Technique costs five and then can be copied with demonstrate for your enemy to get one too. Then you'll mill five and then Zombify and note what you get doesn't have to be what you milled. I also tossed in Rise of the Dark Realms too. Then the four-drop legendary Emet-Selch of the Third Seat will give your stuff from your graveyard two fewer mana to spend and then when your foes lose life you get to cast a spell from your graveyard!
The mono-Black five-drop turns spell casts into a free surveil 1 and then on a 4/5 body, and then at the beginning of your end step you'll have each foe sac their dork like a free Edict unless they pay 2 life per spell in your graveyard...ouchie! Then then sorcery costs four with flashback at six and then makes two 2/2 dorks the first time and then your graveyards creature count from your graveyard. Then the Dimir creature with evasion in menace then gets a size boost equal to your non-dork and non-land count in your graveyard - fast win con there!
Let's turn to this permanent pair. The two-drop rock in Blue can be tapped for a mana to mill everyone or just you for two! Then you can tap it for four and exhaust it for instead milling equal to their graveyard size - nice little kill later on your foes. Then the enchantment dork costs five for an on-curve 5/5 size with impending two and then when it ETBS or swings too? Mill four and then get a free Raise Dead from anything!
Lord of the Forsaken has an on-curve 6/6 and again double evasion with flying and trample. Then you can spend a Black and sac another dork to have someone mill and then pay a life to make a mana for just stuff from our graveyard. Nasty little addition! Then the five-drop flip 'dork Ultimecia, Time Sorceress is a 4/5 that ETBs or attacks to surveil two. Then we can flip by exiling 8 cards from our graveyard and then 8 mana and then from that you get a Time Walk and then 7/7 menace game-winner.
Gravebreaker Lamia ETBS and Entombs a card to our graveyard on a lifelink, 4/4 five-drop body that also reduces your graveyard casts by 1 too. And then you can get anything, not just dorks like spells to recast with our leader once flipped. The uncommon five-drop Knight Syr Konrad, the Grim also has a decent size at 5/4 and then when a dork dies or is milled or discarded, each foe is pinged one - great win con there and then you can have everyone mill for two mana per card. Then the seven-drop Sheoldred, Whispering One with swampwalk and 6/6 size is last. In your upkeep we'll get a free Zombify and our foes a The Abyss trigger. Love that loads here!
Answers
Now let's turn to answers with counters in Blue first. I tossed in these +three three-cost hard counters too. The Standard legal common counters and then loots you a card for card draw and discard. Then the spree one cast two more to counter, and 2 more to Catalog and 3 more to make a copy of your thing. It's a multiplayer classic! Then the final hard counter will also surveil one too.
The two four-cost instants in Price of Fame and Pile On will destroy a dork and surveil too. The first one is cheaper if it targets a legendary one and then the latter can target a planeswalker and then convokes for a cheaper cost too. Witchbane Orb is a proactive answer to graveyard removal since it usually targets you and now this four-drop gives you hexproof.
The first two are mass or smaller removal tethered to recursion. The five-cost will swap all creatures in play with all in all graveyards - set that up and you just win. Then the four-cost one will have everyone else sac one of their greatest power creatures and lose a triad of life too. Or you can Zombify or both if you control your leader! Then the dork is an ideal reanimation target and then costs eight mana for a 6/6 flyer with an ETB and attack trigger to make someone Edict, discard and lose three life and you'll draw it and gain that life too - nasty here!
Card Draw
Let's finish with card draw, loads of options here in both my colors! The four-cost classic spell reveals five, a foe splits, you choose one and then the rest are binned, great stuff. Then the four-cost instant in Dimir colors can draw and discard looting equal you hand size, or has basic land cycling for two mana. I also tossed in Lorien Revealed with that too to discard to your 'yard if needed. Then the two-drop Dimir 1/2 critter with tap to draw and discard like a Looter and if a spell was each foe loses life and you gain it and then you can sac it for two to cast one from your graveyard this turn.
There are tons of spells that mill or surveil while drawing two and losing two life they are all here: Cruel Truths, Funeral Rites, Bitter Revelation. Then the five-cost 5/3 enchantment dork Overlord of the Floodpits comes with impending three on a flyer body and will ETB and swing to draw two and then mill one. Amazing here!
Now let's turn to a dork trio that do more than card draw. The mono-Black four-drop Starving Revenant is first with an ETB to surveil 2 and then you draw them and lose 3 life each one if they were put on your library. Then when you draw a card, if you've got enough permanents you have a foe get drained of a life. Nasty here!
Kiora, the Rising Tide will ETB and loot two this time! Then when you've got threshold you can make an 8/8 size token for wins when she swings. The three-drop Dimir Obsessive Stitcher is a looter for taps or can spend four to tap and sac and to Zombify a dork! Nasty here. Love this trio loads!
Let's finish with Wheels! Jace's Archivist taps with a Blue mana and then each player discards and draws equal to the greatest discarded over and over again. Then the three-cost uncommon Windfall does that once. Whispering Madness does the same but with cipher and can be done again and again!

There we go! I tossed in some sac lands too, like Treasure Vault and Emergence Zone. You could also toss in fetches too. Since I had the Maps I tossed in Cabal Coffers and Urborg too as well as Nykthos. With either you should be able to make the mana to cast your bigger stuff like Rise or Archon. I also adore here adding in Volrath's Stronghold if you've got one. Crucible of Worlds? Get it, run it, love it!
