Building Infinite Guideline Station in Commander

Reddit

Hello and happiest of days to each of you! I hope this article finds you super mega well! Today is my first brew around a Commander released from the Edge of Eternities set. Since they just made here Spacecraft legal as Commanders if they are legendary and have a power and toughness, I'd thought I'd built around the only Five Color one in the set!

Infinite Guideline Station

When it arrives you can make a 2/2 tapped and colorless dork for each multicolored thing you control so minimum it with nothing else. We are going to be leaning on multicolored stuff from everything from Mana Stuff to card draw to beaters to more! Then you can swing at 12 and then has flying and an attack trigger to draw a card for them too! There are a bunch of ways to build around this, like Spacecraft. I am doing multicolored matters first, to make the most tokens and then most of those enablers make tokens too, then since I am in all of the colors with a ton of tokens just innately, we'll add in planeswalkers to finish us off and get saved from lethal attacks too.

Mana, Ramp, Lands

Faeburrow Elder
Leyline of the Guildpact

Let's start with this Selesnya duo for the ramping. The three-drop vigilance one taps for one mana of each color you control, minimum two with it out. Its size is that too, so swing and then tap in the second main phase. I also tossed in Bloom Tender here too. The all colors enchantment must be here that costs four with a free play if in your opening hand. Then your lands are every basic land type. I also tossed in Chromatic Lantern too, and then your dorks are all colors - amazing with your artifact tokens with the leader after swinging to use them.

The five-drop Selesnya enchantment Mirari's Wake is an Anthem for your team to pump it and then adds another mana when your lands tap. This is the first one of that type ever printed dominated casual and constructed when printed too. Love it! Then All-Fates Scroll can tap for any color and then sac with seven to draw equal to our differently named land count - nasty good here!

Tome of the Guildpact
Timeless Lotus
Sarkhan Unbroken

Now let's turn to these three five-drops! The first artifact can tap for any one mana and then draws when you cast a multicolored spell. The Lotus arrives tapped and then taps for one of each mana! Then the planeswalker in Sultai colors with four loyalty and then a +1 to make mana and then draw too, and then -2 to make a flying 4/4 Dragon! Great stuff here!

Now let's turn to lands. The duo of Cascading Cataracts and The World Tree go into most of my five color brews, the first is indestructible and taps with five to make one of each color and then also taps for colorless too. The latter taps for Green, ETBs tapped, and then once you have enough lands out all will tap for any color.

Evendo, Waking Haven
Uthros, Titanic Godcore
Adagia, Windswept Bastion

I also tossed in these three Planets. The Green tapping one is a Gaea's Cradle with 12 counters on it and then the Blue tapping one does the same for artifacts like the banned Tolarian Academy. Both break with our dorks and artifact dorks from our Commander. The White one will on 12 too tap with four at sorcery speed to make a copy token of our artifact or enchantment but just once since it'll be legendary.

The just-printed Secluded Starforge taps for colorless, and then with two to X artifacts to pump our dork's power with that number of stuff at sorcery speed, and then taps with five to make another 2/2 dork. That's great for 5 a Commander Damage or other dork win-con. Then the other colorless tapper Karn's Bastion taps with four to proliferate and then grow those cute little planeswalkers loyalty. Or Spacecraft and Planets too. I also tossed in Mirrex to get a poison kill outta nowhere.

Good Multicolored Triggers and Stuff

Jenson Carthalion, Druid Exile
General Ferrous Rokiric

Now let's look at fun multicolored triggers. The two-drop Selesnya Bear size one is next with that giving you a free scry unless it was all five colors, then it also makes a 4/4 flying Angel brew with flying and vigilance. Then he taps with five to make one of each color. Then the three-drop Boros 3/1 has hexproof from one color and then turns casts into a 4/4 dork on the ground who is both an artifact and dork and then two colors too - so they'll trigger your Commander twice and then count as both for the lands too.

The Bear size and costed rare Hero of Precinct One in White will make a 1/1 Human White to block or swing. Then the three-drop hideaway enchantment Widespread Thieving will make a Treasure for the ramping and then you can spend one of each mana to cast the hidden away card.

Knight of New Alara
Rienne, Angel of Rebirth
Fallaji Wayfarer

The first one is Selesnya costed, four for a multicolored dork pump equal to their color count. Great here generally, and then with the Leyline? The five-drop Bant one with flying and an on-curve 5/4 size pumps their power by one and then when they die you can bring them back in your end step so nice recursion here. Then the last one-costs three for a 2/4 Green cost but is all colors. Then your other multicolored stuff is with convoke for cheaper costs and in a token brew here? Nasty!

Synergies and Win-Cons

Jared Carthalion
Aragorn, the Uniter
Jetmir, Nexus of Revels

Now let's turn to synergies and win-cons with this trio. The five-cost all colors planeswalker is next with five loyalty and then you can +1 him to make an all colors 3/3 Kavu and then -3 him to make two dorks get counters pump equal to their color count. The token making is great here triggers our leader and him too. Then you can -6 him to Regrowth a multicolored card back for recursion and then if it was all colors you can draw and make a pair of Treasures. Then the four-drop four-color non-Black one has a cast trigger for each color: White makes a 1/1 dork, Blue scries 2, Red will Bolt a foe, and Green will pump a dork by +4/+4.

The Naya 5/4 win con for four is next with pumping your dorks by +1 power for each trio of dorks you control up to nine and then giving them in order - vigilance for the swinging, evasion in trample and then double strike. If chump blocked by something that dies in the first combat step all of the latter damage is dealt.

Now let's turn to the three multicolored win-cons here all added. Lobber Crew costs three, has a defender 0/4 body and then taps to shoot each foe and then untaps with the cast. Then the five-drop Pyroconvergence will turn them into a Shock on any target to kill stuff or players. Then the three-drop Mana Cannons will finish us and then shoot one target for its' color count - nasty here.

Now let's turn to a trio of support gold spells or planeswalkers. Sami, Ship's Engineer costs four and has an okay blocking 2/4 size and then in our end step will make a free 2/2 tapped Robot like our leader if two are tapped - quite likely here. Angrath, the Flame-Chained has four loyalty and arrives with a +1 to shoot each foe for 2 and then they'll discard too - once that arrives everyone else will fast drop their hands to avoid that mass discarding and win con too with the life loss. Then his -3 will Threaten a dork one-dropped and then then kill it if it's cheap for another win con outta nowhere. Then the other Rakdos planeswalker Ob Nixilis, the Adversary has casualty X to make a copy with loyalty equal to the power of what left. Then it can +1 to shoot each foe for 2 unless they discard and then you'll gain two if you control a Demon or Devil and then will -2 to make one of those at 1/1 size with the death trigger typical of it. Love those planeswalkers here loads!

Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Now let's turn to this flip-walker with a four-drop on-curve 4/4 beater and then ETbs and each foe discards like Liliana's Specter and then you can spend 7 at sorcery speed to flip him to a 7 loyalty one with a +2 to draw two, -3 to Searing Wind something not a player or -4 him to Zombify a planeswalker or dork.

Maelstrom Archangel
Maelstrom Nexus

Now let's turn to this all-colors five-drop duo. The Angel has an on-curve 5/5 size and a combat damage trigger to cast a spell for free! Then the enchantment will give your first spell each turn that sweet cascade!

Scion of Draco has a 4/4 flying size, 12 cost reduced by two for each one you control and then will give all stuff their color of a keyword - White is vigilance, Blue is hexproof, Black is lifelink, red is first strike and then Green is trample. Collective Restraint is a Blue enchantment with domain that people cannot swing your way without paying your domain count in mana. Nasty here!

Answers

Mystic Snake
Frilled Mystic
Unite the Coalition

Now let's turn to answers, ideally on a gold thang. The two counters here are Simic and then the Snake costs four for a flashing counter and then the Lizard costs a harder four for a 3/2 body this time for the same. I did toss in Heroic Intervention and Rootborn Defenses to protect my stuff. The five color seven-cost instant will choose one of five options but 5 times. You can phase out your stuff to protect it, draw a card, exile a foe's graveyard, Shock something or Disenchant it too. Love that five slate of good stuff!

Now let's turn to two color or more targeted removal. The Orzhov Commander Classic seven-costed 5/5 Angel of Despair can Vindicate on arrival - great here! Then the flashing Dimir four-drop Ertai Resurrected can remove something at the cost of giving them a card - fine here, or counter and then they'll draw too. Worth it! Then the Simic four-drop Kellan, Inquisitive Prodigy has a 3/4 body and then flying and vigilance. The spell will investigate for card draw and then drop another land, and the dork has an attack trigger to Shatter an artifact and if it was yours draw a card. Nice!

Soul of Emancipation
Winds of Abandon
Elspeth, Sun's Champion

Now let's finish with multiple targeted removal or sweeping stuff. The dork in Bant colors has a 5/7 body with seven mana and then ETBs and destroys up to three nonland targets and then leave them a 3/3 White Angel. Worth it. Then the overload sorcery costs six and then all opposing dorks are Path to Exiled; love that in the mass removal slate since they aren't yours. Then the lady of the planeswalker persuasion with four loyalty on a six-cost can +1 to make three dorks or -3 to mass remove bigger threats like Retribution of the Meek!

Card Draw

Hearthhull, the Worldseed
Two-Headed Hellkite
Teferi, Hero of Dominaria

Now let's turn to card draw not already seen like Unite and Sarkhan. The Jund four-drop 6/7 Spacecraft will use its ability at 2 and then attacks at 8 on a on flying, vigilance and then hasted 6/7. Then you can tap it with a mana and then sac a land to draw two and then Explore that turn too, nice for extra lands we don't need any more. Then the Dragon costs six for all colors 5/5 flying and menace hard to block with haste too. It has an attack trigger to draw two. Then the Azorius five-drop four loyalty planeswalker is next. It +1s to draw and then untap two lands on the next end step to keep mana interaction free, and dominated Standard in control brews,+ and then -3s and then tucks a thang three down from the top - a win con in decks to outdraw them on itself.

The five-drop all colors Dragon Niv-Mizzet Reborn is a flying 6/6 and an ETB to dig ten and then draw all guild color pairs revealed that way! Then the Esper colored three-drop Aminatou, the Fateshifter can +1 to draw and then put a card on top of your library like a smaller Brainstorm for Niv-Mizzet or scry stuff. Then you can -1 her to blink something of yours like...say...your leader or planeswalker to reload its counters. Then the Orzhov six-drop Sorin, Grim Nemesis can +1 to draw the top card of your library and then shoot each foe it's mana cost! Then you can -X him to Lightning Helix a permanent equal to the amount spent.

Kaya, Intangible Slayer
Nicol Bolas, Dragon-god

Now let's finish with this Black duo! The seven-drop Orzhov lady with hexproof to shut down interaction and then six loyalty is first. Then you can +2 her to drain three life from your foes, as a win con, or 0 her to draw two and then your foes can scry - love that or -3 her to answer by exiling a dork or enchantment and then make a copy. Then the Grixis take on Bolas with five mana and four loyalty is last. It has the loyalty stuff of your other planeswalkers and then +1s to draw and then each foe discards or sacrifices a permanent but they are exiled. Then you can -3 him to Hero's Downfall as great backup removal!
