The Eldrazi are rampaging across the globe. After taking down Grand Prix Melbourne the otherworldly monsters proceeded to make their mark at Grand Prix Bologna. The Top 8 saw five players on Eldrazi including Fabrizio Anteri on the Red-Green version of the deck.

Even though Anteri went out in the quarterfinals history still repeated itself. The final match saw Alberto Mattioli and Kayure Patel square off in a White-Blue Eldrazi mirror; the very same deck featured on both sides of the finals of Grand Prix Melbourne.

In the end, Kayure Patel stood victorious fighting for the side of the Eldrazi invaders. He was not alone as 17 of the Top 32 players joined him in piloting an Eldrazi deck.
