Wizards of the Coast may have scaled down their involvement in PAX West this yeah but there was no shortage of information on the upcoming Ixalan release. First up is the trailer from the newest set.

We also get a look at the new Planeswalker from Ixalan Huatli, and learn about the nature of the Plane.

Planeswalkers are not able to leave the Plane of Ixalan for reasons not yet revealed. The set is designed to act on the adventure-world theme in a different manner than Zendikar. Ixalan encourages players explore unknown parts of the world as opposed to questing through known, dangerous spaces on Zendikar. We are sure to find out more about the new world in the upcoming Magic Story Series on the mothership.
