Among the news that fell through the cracks this week is that the official hashtag for Mythic Championship Cleveland, #2019MC1, which was already ungainly, turns out shares its tag with the latest "semi-automatic polymer striker fired pistol" by the gun manufacturer Mossberg called the MC1SC. Now, Magic has run into the hashtag buzz saw before, most notably with the Montana Republican Party and the hashtag MTGOP, and later the cryptocurrency exchange "Mount Gox." But surely 2019MC1 won't be the last time this happens. So what other unfortunate hashtag mix-em-ups do you foresee coming down the pike?
