@mtgaaron: Tonight's news: The Pro Tour Qualifier season that starts in January (feeding the second Pro Tour of 2012) will be Modern.
According to Aaron Forsythe, the first PTQ season of 2012 (starting in January 2012) will be Modern. This PTQ season will feed the currently unannounced second Pro Tour of 2012.
