SpongeBob Secret Lairs Revealed
Love it or hate it, the SpongeBob SquarePants Secret Lairs are here at last. The initial announcement of the lair in 2024 drew heavy amounts of ire from the Magic community. However, when the cards dropped via Collider on Monday, players couldn't help but laugh it up over the cards. Wizards leaned into the beloved SpongeBob memes that have taken over the internet, utilizing Tyler Walpole to recreate these classic images from the ground up to utilize in fresh ways. Additionally, there's a Secret Lair reskinning beloved (and weird) Magic cards utilizing SpongeBob characters as well as another lair with five basic lands showing off the world of SpongeBob. These Secret Lairs (and others yet to be revealed) go on sale March 24th, so make sure you set your alarms so you can wake up saying, "I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!"
Magic Online Brings Back Vintage Cube...Permanently
Magic players everywhere love a good Cube experience, and that's always been a major highlight of Magic Online. Thanks to the game's access to nearly every card in the game's nearly 32 year history, players regularly get to experience the awesomeness that is the MTGO Vintage Cube. For years, it's been a fairly infrequent experience, but now it's back again and it brings with it something extra cool: permanent Vintage Cube draft queues! These new queues will be single elimination only, but will stick around for the long haul, with leagues and larger events coming back from time to time.
Find out all the details in the latest Magic Online Vintage Cube announcement!

Jesse Robkin took down the Regional Championship at SCGCON Charlotte last weekend, piloting the Temur Breach deck she helped create. If you think you're unfamiliar with her work, think again! Jesse writes many of the scripts for Tolarian Community College and is a tremendously accomplished Magic player. Jesse's win here helps cement this now infamously powerful combo deck as the deck to beat in Modern, with many players expecting it to receive a ban on March 31st in the wake of several other high profile results for the deck. Congratulations Jesse!
