So Wizards has begun to trickle out spoiler... stuff. Alongside the cards they are revealing, they've sent out some artwork for us to enjoy. With it we receive confirmation and the first look at the two planeswalkers in Rise of the Eldrazi.

If you don't recognize Gideon, don't feel too bad. He's from the novels, introduced in Chandra's story line. He will most likely be White, or White+X so we'll see. Check out the flog attached to his armor, that's pretty bad ass.

We've seen this art before, but here is the full art piece that will be used to make the Planeswalker card. It looks amazing, I love the framing and position. Will he still be Sarkhan Vol? Or will he be 'Vol, Slave of Bolas' as has been rumored before? We'll have to wait and see!
