Greetings, Illumineers! It's that time of the week again where we cover the latest news and updates regarding Disney Lorcana. With Archazia's Island coming out in less than a week in hobby stores, updates to the Organized Play related to the set, and dates for Reign of Jafar announced, it's definitely a bunch to go over. So, without further delay, let's jump right in!
Archazia's Island releases in hobby shops on March 7th!
Disney Lorcana's 7th set, Archazia's Island, and it's looking to be one of the most impactful sets yet. With new dual-ink cards and the Vanish mechanic, we're looking at some huge shake-ups right out the gate.
There're two special promos to chase for during release, and that's the buy a box promo, Kronk - Laid Back and a first time suggested Pack Rush promo Snow White - Fairest in the Land.

For those of you unable to make it to a hobby store on March 7th, fear not, as big box retailers will have the products for sale as soon as March 21st.
Archazia's Island Organized Play Changes
It seems that Ravensburger is interested in making a few changes to how Organized Play will work at the hobby stores moving forward. One of the biggest changes is that players are able to receive promos every week, rather than waiting for the monthly rewards. This makes sense due to the fact that starting a league late in a month usually leaves you at a disadvantage. In this case, you should be able to pop in and out of events on a more flexible schedule.

There's also a storage box too, but I can't seem to find a high-quality photo at the time this was written.
Reign of Jafar Product Line Announcement
Archazia's Island has barely been released and we're already getting details of the 8th set, Reign of Jafar, due out in hobby stores May 30th, and everywhere else on June 6th. Let's take a look below to see what's in store:
Booster Packs and Boxes

No drastic changes have been announced, so we can expect the traditional 12 cards per pack, and 24 packs per box distribution standard as before.
Single Player Decks

Amber/Amethyst and Ruby/Steel decks will be the focus for the single player decks for this set. Both ink pairs received dual ink cards in Archazia's Island that dramatically define the archetype for these ink pairs, so I'm anxious to see what we should expect from these decks once their contents have been revealed. As before, we can expect a playable 60 card deck with an additional booster pack of Reign of Jafar.
Illumineer's Trove

The Illumineer's Trove is one of my favorite products, as it's the perfect item to expand an existing collection with a collection of both booster packs and accessories, such as dice for damage counters, a lore counter, and dividers.
Illumineer's Quest - Palace Heist

As expected, to end this story line for the big bad of the set, Jafar gets his very own Illumineer's Quest, called Palace Heist. The previous Illumineer's Quest, Deep Trouble, was proven to be a great hit for both casual and competitive players, thanks to its dynamic difficulty system. I'm sure we can expect a similar, if not better experience this time around.
