This build of Abzan Midrange gets to play all the best cards in the Abzan colors. The deck is highlighted by the powerful start of Deep-Cavern Bat into Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, and plays all the best Black cards like Go for the Throat and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. Mosswood Dreadknight, Sentinel of the Nameless City, and Restless Cottage are the Green cards, which makes the deck more resilient in midrange mirrors and aggro decks while giving the deck a graveyard interaction when needed, and helps to play around Sunfall. I felt that the regular Golgari Midrange deck that's currently popular needed a way to go wide in certain matchups and have better answers to Leyline Binding and Subterranean Schooner, so I added White mana to have access to Wedding Announcement // Wedding Festivity, Get Lost, Virtue of Loyalty, and a Destroy Evil in the sideboard.
