Though Wizards fooled us all with their registrations for Scars of Mirrodin, the hawks at MTGSalvation remain ever vigilant on the US Patent & Trademark Office. This time finding a new registration for the word 'Innistrad.' There's no concrete evidence that this is a Magic related term, the definition of the registration matches other similar Magic product registrations such as Commander, Elspeth Tirel, and the various Duel Decks.

Is Innistrad a new set? Is it some Planeswalker we are yet to meet? Or is Wizards sending out a red herring to distract the masses as they prepare for another grand reveal?
