Hello Five-Color Dragons and alternate win con enthusiasts! Coalition Victory was just unbanned in Commander and it was the top card in my Good to Unban list. To celebrate, I'm going to build a five-color brew around it and Call the Spirit Dragons to win with five Dragons of each color in your upkeep, using Tiamat to get us there.
We achieve victory with an eight-mana sorcery that win the game if you control a dork in each color, and a land of each type too. The five-mana, five-color, just-printed enchantment will toss a +1/+1 counter on a Dragon of each color in your upkeep and then if you put counters on five different dragons, you win! This leads me to run more five-color dorks to win with the Victory or Call. Our leader costs seven and is a 7/7 flyer with the enters trigger, if cast, to search for five Dragons and put them into your hand. That should be all the fuel we need to win the game. This is my first attempt to build a Tier 3 brew since Coalition Victory is on the list.
Mana, Land, Ramp
Let's start here! The 0-drop taps for all colors of mana, but only if you've got a Dragon - I need the right duals to win with the Victory, so I am running all three Rampant Growth variants to get one like the above one. Ditto Wood Elves here as well. The Omen costs one mana to Lay of the Land a basic to your hand and shuffle back in for another grab! Or you can drop it as a 3/3 flying five-cost to gain some life too.
The uncommon costs 5 for a 3/4 flying Dragon that when it or another Dragon arrives makes a Treasure! The 3-drop 3/3 menace can tap for two mana of any color for Dragons and then, on your turn, you can cast a Dragon from your graveyard, but it gets exiled when it dies. The other 3-drop taps for mana equal to colors among permanents you control, and it starts off tapping for at least two!
Sarkhan, Soul Aflame reduces the cost of your Dragon stuff by
and then when one ETBs he becomes a copy for the turn! I also tossed in Dragonspeaker Shaman for a two-mana reduction. Dracogenesis costs eight and then will cast your Dragons for free! With the Tiamat, you can easily fill your hand with dragons and then drop them immediately for Call the Spirit Dragons and Coalition Victory, or just attack for the win. Leyline of the Guildpact costs four in five colors and makes your lands every nonbasic land type and dorks all colors. I also tossed in Prismatic Omen!
Mistrise Village will often arrive untapped and taps for one to make your next spell uncounterable! Field of the Dead (recently added to the Game Changers List) taps for colorless and when it or another land arrives, you'll make a free 2/2 dork if you have seven unique lands in play. The World Tree arrives tapped and then if you control six lands, all your lands top for any color of mana.
Fun Five-Color and Other Dragons
Now let's turn to Dragon kindred or Five-Color stuff. The six-drop 6/6 with flying and ward will give you extra token copies of your dragons as they enter that lose their legendary status. The five-cost, five-color 4/4 with flying can spend two to Entomb a Dragon to your graveyard and then copy it for the turn, you can easily win with that.
Now let's turn to a pair of five-color Dragons! O-Kagachi, Vengeful Kami has two forms of evasion with flying and trample, and a 6/6 body. Then it's got a combat damage trigger to Vindicate if an opponent previously swung at you. Niv-Mizzet, Guildpact is a 6/6 with flying and hexproof from multicolored and then a combat damage trigger to draw X, shoot something for X, and gain X life, where X is equal to the number of different color pairs among permanents you control that are exactly two colors.
Niv-Mizzet Reborn is a 6/6 with flying and then an ETB trigger to dig ten and then draw one for each unique two-color combo you revealed! Then the Red five-drop 5/5 with flying can turn damage dealt to your precious Dragons to any other non-Dragon target you desire (so you can hit players, dorks or planeswalkers)!
Synergies and Backup Win-Cons
Now let's turn to awesome synergies and combat based win-cons! Maskwood Nexus gives all of your stuff changeling for your Dragon cost reducers! Then you can tap it and three mana to make a 2/2 Dragon (shapeshifter) token. Last Stand causes your foes to lose 2 life for each Swamp you control, shoots a dork for each Mountain you control, make a 1/1 Saproling for each Forest you control, gain 2 life for each Plains you control, and then Loot (draw and discard) for each Island you control! Broodcaller Scourge turns all Dragon combat damage into a permanent with cost equal to or less than the damage dealt!
Whirlwing Stormbrood gives flash to your sorceries and Dragons too! A flash enabler is nasty with Dracogenesis. Scion of Draco costs 12 for a 4/4 flying that gives your team hexproof if it's Blue, vigilance if White, lifelink if Black, first strike if Red and then if Green trample! The seven-drop 7/7 Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund comes with both flying and haste and gives other Dragons haste. Also, when this arrives you get to steal all the dragons in play and then they don't go back to their owners' control at the end of the turn.
Utvara Hellkite makes a 6/6 flying dragon token whenever one of your dragons attacks. And that includes the tokens! Lathliss, Dragon Queen gives you a 5/5 token whenever one of your nontoken dragons enter, and then you can spend two mana to pump the team. Ureni has an ETB or attack trigger to dig eight cards and then drop a Dragon for free from among them!
Let's finish with some Gruul legendary dorks with attacking triggers. The seven-drop Atarka, World Render is a 6/4 flying and trample that gives all your attacking Dragons double strike - so drop her then swing on your turn. Then Thrakkus the Butcher is a 3/4 trample and then when it swings you double your Dragons' power- amazing together to win fast!
Answers
Just added to the game-changer list, Teferi's Protection phases out you and your stuff so you cannot be harmed for the turn. I disagree with its addition to the Game Changer list since it most often saves you from losing. Heroic Intervention gives your stuff indestructible and hexproof for the turn to save it in two ways!
Now let's turn to targeted removal! Inevitable Defeat cannot be countered and then you'll drain life too, and I tossed in Void Rend as well. Disruptive Stormbrood has an Omen to destroy a dork with three power or less or it can enter as a creature to Naturalize, like a Reclamation Sage! Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas will shoot something equal to your Dragon count when a dragon arrives. The enchantment gives them haste if they fly and then the dork can pump itself with fire-breathing - burn down anything!
Let's finish with this Mono-Black duo that sweeps and keeps your Dragons! The five-mana sorcery sweeps all non-dragons (or dragons, but boo to that), and then the Omen dork costs X for -X/-X to all non-dragons and then shuffles back in for another go!
Card Draw
Marang River Regent's Omen costs four to draw three and discard one and gets shuffled back in! Two-Headed Hellkite has haste to swing as soon as it enters, and then it has menace and flying and draws two when it swings. Korlessa can cast Dragons from the top of your library, which is brilliant with shuffles from Omens!
Zurgo and Ojutai, along with Parapet Thrasher, turns Combat damage into card flow via Dragons. The Jeskai one-costs 5 for a 4/4 with flying and haste and has hexproof if it just entered. When Dragons deal combat damage, Zurgo and Ojutai digs three and draws one! Parapet Thrasher can turn combat damage into a Shatter, or damage to all opponents, or exiling a card that can be cast this turn.
Firkraag has flying and haste and then turns attacks of Dragons into goads. And when one of those goaded creatures (or any creature, really) deal combat damage to one of your opponents? You draw a card and Firkraag gets bigger! Enduring Curiosity is a 4/3 Cat that will turn all combat damage to players into card draw!

Yay!
There we are! I hope that you enjoyed my first look at Coalition Victory post unban and my first Tier 3 brew! I tossed in Conflux as a backup Tiamat and then Tooth and Nail and Dragonstorm as backup winners! I did steer clear of some pricier Dragons like The Ur-Dragon and then the Ancient Cycle that toss a d20 when they punch face. You might want that though!
There we are! Enjoy!
