Hello happiest of days to you all! Today I wanted to try my hand at a new Five Color Commander transformer that cares about Sagas and Enchantments too.
This three-drop 4/2 Gruul mythic ETBs and mills five and then tosses one that was milled of the enchantment stylings and then Regrowth's it. Then you can tap her for six to flip her into a Saga at sorcery speed and a dork with a 6/6 flying body! On the back side she can make a hasted temporary three times a token copy of any enchantment you control, but if it's a Saga then toss up to three counters on it - that's where you can break her Saga'ing and Summoning with haste. Then chapter 4 make two mana of every color and then flip her back over - nasty. That makes her five colors for color identity.
Since she copies, let's look at either good stuff enchantments to copy, or ETB ones, or dorks to swing with haste as well as Sagas and Summons.
Mana Rocks and Dorks, Ramp, and Lands
Let's get started with the flavor based ramp! This three-cost Rampant Growth on a Saga Summon Wolf 3/2 is first! The next chapter you'll turn creature casts into a +1/+1 counter grow for them or other Summons and then then third you'll draw too if you have the highest-powered dork. Then the two-drop enchantment dork taps for one mana for each enchantment you control of any color. Nasty ramp and pair there.
The enchantment Dryad three-drop Dryad of the Ilysian Grove will let you drop another land and then your lands are any basic for ramping purposes. Then the four-drop Saga Binding the Old Gods will first chapter destroy a non-land your foe has and then ramp a non-basic Forest tapped and then your dorks get deathtouch the last turn. Brilliant removal and ramp combo.
Let's finish our enchantment ramping here. The five-cost Summon arrives with a 7/7 size that mills five and then Splendid Reclamations lands tapped - great with it and our leaders milling. Then a win-con at the end with one dork getting our land in size and then trample too! Then the three-cost Simic one is here to choose Sultai and then you'll have a Crucible of Worlds in enchantment for the milled ones too.
Now let's turn to lands. Nesting Grounds with a one mana tap will move a counter from one of your stuff to another at sorcery speed - great for Saga manipulation. Then the White tapping Adventure land Ishgard, the Holy See is next with a five-mana sorcery that recurs from our graveyard to our hand a pair of artifacts or enchantments - great for our milling or Saga death. I also tossed in Hall of Heliod's Generosity to reload them to the top of our library too.
The Blue tapping one will often ETB untapped here and then you can tap it with a Blue to stop the next thing you cast from being countered, great here! Then the Green tapping one will do the same being untapped and then tap with four to make it a copy of a dead permanent for the turn if you have four or more types in your graveyard - amazing here. I also tossed in the mana ramper spells that get any nonbasic like Farseek and then all of the Tri lands.
Good Sagas and Stuff to Copy
Now let's turn to copiable Sagas! This more pricey win-con duo is next. The White eight-drop win con-ish makes three 2/2 Whites on four turns on a 3/3 Summon size Knight with indestructible and then on the 5th and last one this gives your enitire team +2/+2 and then an indestructible counter to stay on them. Then the Blue one arrives with an 8/8 Kraken with hexproof and then Sleeps all nonlands your foes have and then skip a turn and the you'll steal a permanent and keep it and untap it too.
The pricey six-drop Leviathan will have a 6/6 body and then ward 2 to protect it a bit and then ETBs and then bounces all non-Deep-Sea dorks and but watch out for your tokens, and then when they swing get your card draw - but just once per turn. Then the five-drop 5/4 flying Drake ETBs and your foes each bounce a dork of their priciest cost - so unlikely tokens. Then you'll tap one in three turns and stun it. Then the five-cost 4/5 arrives and then on the first and second turn you'll stun and then the final turn draw equal to all of your foe's tapped dorks! Great here with those many tapped things here.
Summon: Esper Ramuh will shoot a dork your foes have equal to our non-land and dork in our graveyard - good with our milling. Then its type grows in power the last two turns it's sitting around. Then the Drake with flying and haste (Summon: Esper Valigarmanda) will exile an instant or source in all graveyard, and then on the next three turns you can cast them with any colors of mana and make 2, 3 or 4 mana for anything.
Synergies and Win-Cons
Now let's turn to Synergies and backup win cons. The five-cost one above will in your upkeep return an enchantment to our battlefield from our graveyard and then when we have five, they all turn to dorks to kill fast. Then the two sorceries can return all of them as well as artifacts too. The miracle for four-costs a pricier but splashable eight but the cheaper one is also harder to cast.
This synergy Green two-drop enchantment dork duo are next! The Bear size Weaver of Harmony can pump your dorks if they are also enchantments too. Then you can tap it for a mana to copy an enchantment ability. With all of the ETB and Sagas here... Then the uncommon Destiny Spinner makes both her types uncounterable and can mana-sink for mana to make a land into a dork with haste and trample and size equal to your enchantment size!
Now let's turn to this Selesnya duo. The five-cost uncommon Sphere of Safety will stop stuff attacking you unless they spend mana equal to your enchantment count - yay! Great to copy! Then the four-drop Green Equipment Summoner's Grimoire with 3 Equip and then job select will give them an attack trigger to drop a free dork from your hand and then if it's also an enchantment it's tapped and attacking.
Let's turn to these two synergies legendary leaders in Terra's set! The Selesnya one-costs five and then on your turn your enchantment dorks and her will have ward, trample so evasion and then lifelink too. Great stuff! Then the Gruul uncommon costs two with landfall to discard and draw - great card flow and then will tap with X to recur a Saga back with a finality counter and haste - not great, since it's a one-of, but not that bad too, right if it's what you need to win.
The rare with a nice blockable 3 toughness and then taps for no mana at sorcery speed to add a lore counter on all of your Sagas and then has a death trigger to return one to your hand from your graveyard or play. Then the uncommon Bear size one has lifelink and then when it swings remove a lore counter instead and then grow its size too with a +1/+1 counter!
The five-drop all colors legendary dork Tom Bombadil has indestructible and hexproof too to shut down all interaction as long as you have enough lore counters on your stuff! Then as they die you can dig until you find one and then drop it for free! Then the White four-drop Dion, Bahamut's Dominant arrives with a 2/2 Knight and is one too, and then they all get flying on your turn - nice with the Summon before. Then you can transform him for six and a tap and then he becomes a 5/5 Dragon that puts +1/+1 counters on your stuff and they get flying too for two turns and then removes and heads back!
Answers
Now let's turn to answers! The White three-cost sometimes free can save your dorks with indestructible as well as Heroic Intervention added too for everything plus hexproof - too bad I cannot add Teferi's Protection. Then the two-cost Azorius cannot be countered and counters like a Negate, also here. Then the flashing three-drop enchantment dork above with a 3/2 body and then on arrival will counter anything and then they'll manifest dread too. Worth it!
Now let's turn to Sagas that start with removal! The four-drop 5/5 Summon: Yojimbo in White will exile one opposing tapped critter, enchantment or artifact too! Then you can Ghostly Prison for two turns before ramping tapped Treasures. Then the nine-drop on-curve 9/9 flyer Summon: Bahamut will Vindicate two things, then draw you two and then on the way out will shoot each foe your other stuff's total cost! Then The Kami War will exile an opposing nonland, then Regrowth something and then finish with the swapping to the 6/6 flyer and trampler O-Kagachi Made Manifest on the other side with a recursion-oriented attack trigger! Love that here loads!
Now let's turn to mass removal! The six-cost mono-Black Extinguish All Hope destroys all of nonenchantment ones - so yours are safe and sound. Then the five-cost Damning Verdict will save yours with counters, so then your Sagas will be safe, a little fewer.
Card Draw
Now let's turn to card draw! All of the Enchantresses are here first like this pair too that are them too. One is an ETB so copies will do it too. Then the Aura that costs four arrives and draws you 2 and then you can copy that too!
Now let's turn to this card drawer legendary dork duo! The Blue one 1/2 O'aka, Traveling Merchant taps with no mana to swap a counter for a card! Then the Abzan Narci, Fable Singer has lifelink, turns the death if they were sacked of your enchantments into cards, and then the final chapter resolves will drain life from your foes equal to its mana value!
Let's finish with this Black duo! The uncommon Saga Summon costs six for a 4/4 and then will draw you one card for a life three times, and then Edicts our foes! Then the classic swap life for cards in your upkeep here - love that with copies too. I also tossed in Sylvan Library!
