Hello and happiest of days to you all! Today might be my last deep dive into my favorite new cards from the awesome FF: MTG set for casual play like Commander, Highlander, multiplayer, Five Color and Type Four too. I have moved to Top 15 and skipped past my normal 3 Top Ten with three Honorable Mentions each plus one last for a Top 40. I still have......sixty-nine cards to talk about and need to do the Commander set too. This will, due to time and fading interest thus be my last one.
Honorable Mention #1. (#21. Overall) - Freya Crescent
This one-mana on-curve uncommon has flying on your turn and then is a mana tapper for red that can only be used for casting or equipping that spell, so she's brilliant in that brew, ideally in the 99 or support outside of Commander, not leading it.
#20. Serah Farron // Crystalized Serah
This Selesnya transformer legendary lady with Grey Ogre size and cost is next! She can drop the costs of your first legendary dork each turn! Not just yours, so insert flash. Then in your combat you can flip her into an Anthem to double pump your legendary team, but only if you control two more. Love this and she is easily built around too with tons of legendary dorks.
#19. Sazh Katzroy
He has an ETB to Tutor for a basic or Bird for your hand. Then when you swing you toss a +1/+1 counter on any dork and then double them. Great synergy with +1/+1 brews either as the leader or in the support, and then the Bird/land Tutor is great in Birds or just when you need that mana taken care of.
#18. Circle of Power AND Resentful Revelation
This Black duo of sorcery speed and then getting two cards total is here. The four-cost uncommon will draw two and then lose 2 life and make a Black Wizard dork and then pump them with lifelink and power too. The two-cost with flashback digs three, draws one and then tosses the rest right on into your graveyard!
#17. Tifa Lockhart
This two-drop trampling 1/2 landfall loving lady is next. She turns them into doubles of her power and won't need long to break into her with enough landfall for a 20 damage win in Five Color or Commander Damage win in those formats too. You can either run enough ramp to just kill her, or Voltron first like Rancor and then two or three to put her over the top - either works for me.
#16. Astrologian's Planisphere
This two-cost Blue artifact Equipment with job select Equip for 2 will make it a Wizard and then as you cast non-dorks, toss a +1/+1 counter here and then on your third card drawn each turn, not just yours - brilliant win con there for Spellslinger brews and Commanders for Commander Damage in Cantrips.
#15. Venat, Heart of Hydaelyn // Hydaelyn, the Mothercrystal
This three-drop White transforming on-curve 3/3 has a cast trigger to draw for a legendary spell - not dorks like Serah above but them all, and on any turn, but just once. Then you can spend 7, tap her, remove an opposing thangd and then flip her to the 4/4 indestructible with the ability on combat to grow another dork with a counter and then it also gets indestructible and then draw if it's legendary - she's amazing!
#14. Balthier and Fran
Your vees are pumped in size by +1/+1 and then get reach too and vigilance - nasty combo since you can swing, stay untapped and then block anything, like Serra Angel et all. When you've crewed one with them and then attack you can spend three mana to get a free, recursive Relentless Assault! Right after the Vee/Mount Aetherdrift that's brilliant fun!
#13. Sorceress's Schemes
This also flashbackable uncommon Red sorcery costs four and then a cheaper flashback for one more and then each time you cast it you can Regrowth a spell or exiled one with flashback. Then you'll add that mana too - this is an essential for Spellslinger brews since it will trigger your Guttersnipes and such too, unlike dorks that recur.
#12. Lightning, Army of One
This 3/2 Boros aggro lover is next with first strike and trample and lifelink too! Then when you can deal that combat damage, all damage dealt to them for a round of turns is...doubled! That's amazing in multiplayer with more and more people that can attack or burn them too. They are brilliant in Commander too as yours in a 40-life format too.
#11. Excalibur II
This one-drop colorless life-gain caring Equipment with a cost of three will put a counter here for each life you gain and then the dork you equip gains a size boost equal to that charge count. Note that's per instance, not for the amount, so something that triggers often like Soul Warden is better. Love this little thang much!
#10. Eject
This four-cost great tempo instant is next! It cannot be countered, bounces any nonland and then draws a card too. This is my favorite pinpoint bounce spell printed since Capsize since it's a cantrip and cannot be traditionally answered. You can also bounce our stuff if they are targeted for removal, to reuse an ETB or after chump-blocking too. Insert this bounce spell!
#9. The Gold Saucer
This colorless tapping Town arrives untapped and can be tapped with two to flip and then make a Treasure if you win - not bad anywhere in coin flip and Treasure brews amazing. Then you can tap this with three mana to sac two artifact and then draw that card! Love this in all of the places that can use ramp or Artifacts to sac for cards!
#8. Random Encounter
This sorcery costs six in Red and then has flashback for eight, and then shuffles, and then mills four and drops all dorks milled with haste to kill that turn! Then bounce them to your hand to keep them castable. Love that as a first-turn play in Type Four with an infinite mana but just one spell per turn.
#7. Vincent Valentine // Galian Beast
This four-drop transformable 2/2 Black rare can turn a dying dork from your foes into it's power pump this with counters permanently. Then when you swing you can flip it, but you don't have to. Then you can get a trample evasive also with lifelinking and then when it dies it comes back tapped as Vincent! Love that nasty stuff and then it's a nasty powerful win-con in 20 life stuff or great Commander Damage too and then you'll often only need to cast it once. This is a great win-con in any control brew and with mass removal can get into a win con size even in Commander. Love this dude.
#6. Restoration Magic
I love this tiered three option White uncommon costing one base to give a permanent I control hexproof and indestructible. Note that's not just dorks, but anything, and then not just indestructible which White does all day long but hexproof too. Then two mana will do that and gain three life, and five mana will do that for all of your stuff and then gain a massive six life too. That's amazing in going wide brews or stuff with loads of permanents like Voltron or Planeswalkers. It's also great with one key thing too like your Commander.
#5. Ignis Scientia
This uncommon Simic creature is legendary for leading your brew, and then when it arrives you dig six and then drop a land tapped! Note that's any land, not just basics. Then you can tap it with three and exile a card from any graveyard - ideal to hose foes. Then if you exiled a dork, make a Food! Awesome and good stuff for the win-tuff. And the more foes you have, the more likely you are to get Food and better exiling stuff.
#4. Stiltzkin, Moogle Merchant
This on-curve, rare, lifelinking one-drop White legendary leader will tap with three mana to give away one of your things and then draw a card too. I love that they color shifted this from Blue and Red to White on a legendary dork you can build around! Get this and run and give away many-a-gift in White! And draw too...
#3. Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied
This Rakdos four-drop is legendary and a 3/4 size and then in your end step you'll make a free Black Wizard with the normal stuff and then yay for that - good stuff! Then you can flip him when you control at least four Wizards like him and tokens and others too and then that creature type will double their damage. Nasty stuff for the winning - love it and their stuff much here!
#2. The Masamune
This three-cost legendary artifact Equipment with an equip of two is next! Then the equipped dork has first strike and Lure if it's attacked. Then your opposing death trigger from this dork are doubled. Not too shabby, but that's a lot of breaks - it's legendary, needs to be attacking, but it will work on stuff like Syr Konrad and such. It's nice if you are built around death triggers of something, like a Commander or such, but otherwise feels too limited, hence it hitting here!
#1. Summon: Titan
This is our last card in my last Top for this set! Are you feeling nostalgic? This five-drop Summon Saga has a bigger size with a 7/7 body with evasion with trample and then reach too. Then on arrival you'll mill 5, and then next turn you'll Splendid Reclamation and the last you'll pump a dork and give it trample equal to your land count- a win con too! This is so strongly done! Love it much!
