Hello happy folks and I hope your day is going super mega well! Two weeks ago, I looked at my Top 5 Discard Commanders, then my Top 5 Discard Support Spells like Megrim, today I am looking at my Top 5 spells! These are not ones for you like Big Score, but foes. Ideally, we are looking at multiplayer and Commander too. Ready?

Honorable Mention

Rankle's Prank

This fun four-cost sorcery will make everyone you too discard two, and if you want lose four life and then Barter in Blood too, and any combo of those too. Sure, that's a big ol' hit to you, but that flexibility is why it's hitting my chart here but the first one.

Dark Deal

This fun three-cost sorcery speed one is basically a Windfall where everyone discards and then they draw their hand minus one. Sure, again, that's you but that a much bigger hit to your foes hand thus hits one higher.

Fell Specter

This four-drop 1/3 flying Specter hit last week too, in the honorable mention there too! This is a Ravenous Rats for one foe and then a Megrim too. Love that much. I wish it would force everyone to discard instead or just be three mana or have a bigger body for four mana. That's why it's here, but don't sleep on this either.

Vicious Rumors

This one-cost mana common makes all foes ping one, mill one, discard one and then you gain life too. That making everyone discard one is great on the first turn before they have dropped their hand.

#5. Arterial Flow

This harder to cast three-cost sorcery will have every foe discard two cards - so a Mind Rot for everyone! Then if you control a Vampire, you'll also drain them of two life. Forget that! Alone this is amazing if you can cast the mana at double Black instead of one Black in Mind Rot. Run this fun little thing in all of the discard brews!

#4. Thoughtseize et al

Next up are the Thoughtseize and variants like Duress and such that are good backups. Here you can reveal someone's hand to the table and then discard the good stuff. I love this as an adjunct to other discard, and Thoughtseize is the best since it has the widest range of things to discard only lands cannot be chosen. But you pay two life, which is worth it. But just one target - good against the archenemy in multiplayer on the first turn to take out their nasty combo piece and then showoff the person's hand to the others who need to take them out and down. Enjoy this much!

#3. Liliana's Specter

This was one of the very first printed everyone else discards rather than one ETB dorks ever printed like Ravenous Rats. This three-drop 2/1 flyer dominated play early on for all of those reasons and is still great today in all of the brews!

#2. Burglar Rat

Next up are all two-drop 1/1 dorks that arrive and then force everyone else to get their discard on. Virus Beetle just reprinted for Standard counts too. Love this cheaper but smaller and less evasive Specter the above one. But they have to be just one fewer for the obvious reasons.

#1. Syphon Mind

This four-cost common sorcery makes everyone else discard even allies, and then draw that many. It's cheap on the cost to buy and an absolute Commander Classic for discard or other brews since you draw too! Love it in all of the spaces.
