Hello and happiest of days to each of you! After Megrim was printed in the casual favorite set of Stronghold people made their first discard decks. I remember people trying to trade for them at the prerelease. Last week I looked at my Top Discard Commanders and now this is for all casual formats like Commander, sure, but then multiplayer, Five Color, Highlander and more. Ready?

Honorable Mention

Sangromancer

This four-drop flyer can gain you three life when opposing stuff dies or discards too - hence it being here. I love that stuff so much! But gaining life is the worst of the reliable triggers.

The Raven Man

This two-drop on-curve legendary dork turns opposing discards into 1/1 Bird flyers that cannot block, which is great from a number of angles save for the whole blocking thing. Then you can tap him with four mana at sorcery speed to make everyone else discard and trigger him too. That's another angle of greatness.

Fell Specter

This four-dop flying 1/3 smaller size ETBs with a Ravenous Rats to make one person discard and then will be a Megrim on legs to kill them fast so it combines them into one card with flying. It's here but four mana and then just one card for multiplayer and then a bigger mana cost for a smaller body. Either add a discard for all foes like Liliana's Specter or a cheaper cost or a bigger body. One would work.

Tinybones, Bauble Burglar

This two-drop good blocking butt at 3 also taps for four at sorcery speed like The Raven Man and then make all foes discard, and then will turn their discards into an exiling express with counters, and then you can cast them with any color of mana too. I adore that fun thing going on.

#5. Waste Not

This two-drop enchantment was made by the fans. They clearly wanted more discard support! Then when your foes discard a dork you'll make a 2/2 Zombie, then draw with a non-land and dork and then make a pair of mana with a land. Any way you'll make out!

#4. Tergrid, God of Fright

This fun five-drop Commander eligible nasty one is next- she'll turn opposing discards of permanent stuff back onto your side of the board. She's on the Game Changers list and don't run her. She's too nasty, run anything else!

#3. Tinybones, Trinket Thief

This is the first iteration of everyone's beloved Tinybones! For two-mana you'll turn discards of your foes into card draw at the cost of a life but just EOT and once per turn. Then you can kill foes with no hands by dropping their life by 10 for each six mana you spend. There's nothing here you cannot do with this. Get it, run it, love it!

#2. Geth's Grimoire

Forget the one per card draw but life loss of the previous one with this! This card drawing machine costs four and then is a colorless artifact too! Embrace the power of this fun little thing that fits into all of the decks!

Ah yes, all Megrims chart top of our lists with stuff like this as well as Liliana's Caress and more. This is the win-con that doesn't quit at all! It even banned Memory Jar from Standard before release because you could kill in one turn! This is the win-con that put this on the map so don't forget it!
