Hello and happiest of days to each of you! When Rooms debuted back in Duskmourn last year I did my own separate Top 5 for them here outside of the traditional rankings so that you could get the real stuff, but last time with Summons I did both. Today, I am looking at the Top 5 Spacecraft for you all in all casual formats from multiplayer and Commander to Five Color and Type Four and that'll be it. Ready?
Honorable Mention
Specimen Freighter
This splashable uncommon six-dop has the ability to bounce on arrival up to two other dorks that ain't Spacecraft. I do like that with Type Four with infinite mana but just one spell/turn unless an alternate cost was paid like Force of Will. This is two turns of bouncing them back, not one, and getting dorks tapped to swing in the skies for 9 counters and a 4/7 flying body and then milling them too is easily done too. Just drop Colossus of Sardia or Gigantosaurus, tap it, swing and then move on.
Fell Gravship
This fun take on milling and Raise Dead is next is a three mana 3/2 flying lifelinking body and attacks on 8 counters. When it arrives, mill three and then Raise Dead any dork or Spacecraft back - note it doesn't have to have been milled. It fills and recurs in one hit. Love this little uncommon much!
Uthros Research Craft
It costs three for an 0/8 at 12 to get power equal to your artifact total and flying! Then three counters will turn artifact casts into more counters here and then card draw too. I just wish this were legendary to see how it'd do as a Commander there.
The Eternity Elevator
This five-drop colorless legendary vee but no power and toughness so it cannot be a Commander either is next. You can tap it with three colorless like Thran Dynamo for one fewer, but if you get 20 counters on it you can tap it for one mana of a colorless instead equal to the number of counters. Sure, that might be a big dream, but dreams inspire results. Love it.
Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought
This fun flavor-forward five-drop dork with power and toughness at 20/20 with flying and then 20 needed to swing and at 10 counters when anyone of your stuff swings shoot a dork or planeswalker for 100! Nasty! Note that's once per creature, not just the one time when getting your swing on.
#5. Larval Scoutlander
This three-drop 3/3 flyer uncommon is next! With the ability to Harrow on arrival and sac a land or Lander too for two basics tapped. Note this isn't an instant, but worth it since this can be flickered or recurred for more and more triggers. Love this fun little take on everyone's favorite sac land ramp spell.
#4. Rescue Skiff
This six-mana splashable uncommon White thang is next. It attacks on 10 charge counters, and then arrives and Resurrections a dork or enchantment from our graveyard to the battlefield. Love that with enchantments too like Sylvan Library or Phyrexian Arena. I love this just one more mana that Karmic Guide on the side with twice the reanimation potential.
#3. Extinguisher Battleship
This awesome eight-drop colorless rare is next with the ability when it ETBs to destroy a non-dork like Green often does with Creeping Mold stuff, and then shoot every dork for four like a Mizzium Mortars for everyone - you too. Love that combo with sweeping removal and targeted removal on one card. Then it's cost for attacking with the 10/10 flying and trample doubly evasive is next with a just 5 charges needed. Love it!
#2. The Seriema
This three-drop mono-White legendary leader with Commanderable size ETBs and tutors a legendary dork to your hand. Note that's only dorks, not permanents like planeswalkers or artifacts like The One Ring or spells or lands, but just creatures. But that? That's a dense love of so many things out there. Then swing with your 7 counters 5/5 flyer beater and then your other tapped dorks are indestructible to shut down any normal type of death.
#1. Infinite Guideline Station
This awesome legendary leader five color five-cost 7/15 is my favorite one here. It arrives with a tapped 2/2 colorless artifact Robot for each multicolored thang you control! One for him nakedly. Nasty! Then when you swing with him after 12 charges you draw equal to them too. Wowzer Bowzer!
