Hello and happiest of days to each of you folks! After doing my discard Commanders and such I thought we should do one that helps us out with Madness and then count my top Commanders this week, support spells next week like Wild Mongrel, and then Madness stuff generally the week after.

Let's start with the Madness Commanders this week!

Honorable Mention

Prosper, Tome-Bound

This fun four-drop overpowered 1/4 legendary dork has deathtouch to play keep away and then in your end step exiles the top card and then you can cast it and then when you cast a spell from exile make a Treasure. Why is this here? Madness spells are cast from exile so you will make a Treasure from it!

Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator

I adore this two-drop Dimir uncommon since it's Blue - rare in modern madness support but key for the original color of Simic Madness. Just tap him to Loot and then trigger madness, and then if you discarded a spell - drain a life from your foes! Then you can sac Vohar with two mana to cast a graveyard spell at sorcery spell and then it's exiled. Since many madness ability stuff are spells like Circular Logic that's great here.

Cait, Cage Brawler

I enjoy this two-drop 1/1 Gruul lady of the legendary persuasion. She has indestructible on your turn and then an attack trigger to have you and the one you are attacking Loot and then if you discarded card was bigger or tied for the casting cost toss two counters here. Madness triggers and then spells are often pretty pricey too. Cait is Great!

#5. Chainer, Nightmare Adept

Our first Top Five and more traditional discard outlet in Rakdos is this four-drop 3/2 with the ability to discard a card and then you can cast a dork from your graveyard this turn, but just once. That's a better Wild Mongrel with that free discard since it's free mana wise and then you can cast stuff. Then when they arrive from the graveyard or exile you can give it haste too. Great stuff!

#4. The Infamous Cruelclaw

This three-drop on-curve 3/3 with menace is next! It's got a combat damage trigger to exile the top card of your library and then cast it this turn...you can spend mana normally or discard a card for free. That's where the madness part enters. You get the madness and then the spell too all for a cheap cost on the mana stuff.

#3. Flubs, the Fool

I adore this three-drop Temur 0/5 Frog. It's an Exploration for your lands letting you drop another, and you'll draw when you cast or drop that land with an empty hand, and then discard otherwise. I really like how pushed he is for madness, and he's the only Green and Blue madness dork the original colors plus red for burn and stuff. I just wish he was Black for removal.

#2. Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar

This Modern Masters option has a maddening cost only if you've discarded for Rakdos one mana and then when she arrives you can search for the Underworld Cookbook and shuffle and then sac two Foods to have someone shoot itself for 6 damage. Love that massively in all of the places!

#1. Anje Falkenrath

Everyone's favorite madness leader! She costs three, has haste taps to discard and draw on a 1/3 body and then when you discard if it's got madness untap this lady. I adore her much in all of the Madness brews. Embrace her!
