For the past several years Magic has released special Planeswalker Promos for the annual San Diego Comic-Con. These have been alternate art, black-on-black versions of Standard legal Planeswalkers. Leading up to this year's Con (which begins on Thursday), Wizards has been rather mum on the promos. Until today.

Gone on the black-on-black promos. Instead, well, see for yourself:

These special alternate art Planeswalkers will be available at the Magic booth at San Diego Comic-Con and are sure to be a hot ticket item in the future.

Update: These cards have been confirmed to be foils and the entire package will cost $99.99 at San Diego Comic-Con.
