The Commander Rules Committee announced the September 2012 Commander Banned Update today! Primeval Titan and Worldfire were added to the banned list. Worldfire was banned beacuse the ability to cast Worldfire and then your Commander was deemed unhealthy for the format, while Primeval Titan was banned to lessen the ubiquity of green-based ramp decks.

Another controversial move is the unbanning of Kokusho, the Evening Star. While still banned from being a Commander (like Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary), Kokusho, the Evening Star is now legal after years hiding alongside its banned partner-in-crime, Recurring Nightmare. Neither of these cards has ever been legal without the other so it should be very interesting to see how the format develops!
