Wizards today announced that starting with Shards of Alara's Prereleases they will precede the set's release by six days. Rather than the multiple weeks for past sets.

Shards of Alara will hold it's Prereleases worldwide on September 27th-28th. With Release parties taking off on October 3rd, 4th and 5th!
