As a longtime author of Magic: The Gathering content, it goes without saying that I love written articles. Given that you're here reading this article, I'd wager there's a solid chance you do too.
Earlier this week, beloved MTG community members Cal Jones and Dan Sheehan announced they have come together to create a new way to experience and support written content. This new "mag/newsletter/zine" - as described in their BlueSky profile - is called Cascade Cascade. This new content production is, in their words: "Built on the idea that those who love this game deserve more than an endless scroll of short form video. Community over content, every time."
Throughout the week, Cascade Cascade has been revealing their initial group of authors who will have published works with them. As of the time of writing, this list includes:

In addition to their usual weekly updates - including news of the digital release for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - the Magic Online revealed something new, a revamped website. This new website includes a reworked site layout, a ticket at the top of the page noting upcoming premier events in local time, and dark mode capability. It's a great looking site and a new way to enhance the experience of the best way to play formats like Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, and Premodern.

Following the results of Magic World Championship 31 late last year, many players were worried about the dominance of Izzet Lessons. In the time since, many new decks have popped up to help combat it, with even more appearing thanks to Lorwyn Eclipsed.
Despite this, the deck has remained a resilient option for those looking to experience Standard at the highest levels of play. Will Krueger demonstrated this by piloting it to a victory at the US Regional Championship in Milwaukee this past weekend. This earns him a spot on the Pro Tour and a seat at the next World Championship as well.
Congratulations Will on the win.
