Edge of Eternities Previews Wrap Up
Preview season for Edge of Eternities is officially donezo! Every card from the main set, Commander decks, and the Stellar Sights bonus sheet have now been revealed! It's time to get acquainted with the cards ahead of prerelease next weekend. In the leadup to the event, you'll be able to catch early access streamer events via MTG Arena and MTGO, as well as the traditional LoadingReadyRun Pre-Prerelease! Check with your local game store for details on prerelease and product availability or else check the Edge of Eternities page here on CoolStuffInc to pick up all your space opera needs!
Spider-Man Previews Start Next Friday
Hey, remember when I covered the Preview Panel from MagicCon Las Vegas? Remember when I speculated that Magic: The Gathering - Marvel's Spider-Man was absent there so it could be shown at San Diego Comic-Con? You'll never guess who was right on the money.
Mark Rosewater was asked on his Tumblr blog (Blogatog) if there would be any panels coming up at Comic-Con or at GenCon. While nothing was announced for GenCon, Mark did announce two panels happening at Comic-Con. The first, and perhaps most notable one, will be on Friday at 12:30 PST and will center entirely on the first look for Magic: The Gathering - Marvel's Spider-Man. Keep your eyes peeled for all the news on that next weekend!

Due to a set of unforeseen circumstances, this weekend's NRG Series event in Minneapolis has been cancelled. NRG notes that this is largely due to low availability for hotels due to a massive concert/festival taking place over the course of the weekend.

NRG and other organizers have managed to put together a handful of other events to make up for this for those who were fully booked and ready to go. If you were one of the people looking to go to the event, I recommend looking into those in the future. NRG took to social media to further discuss the cancellation, noting the hope that this will not happen again in the future.

With Edge of Eternities just a week away, let's take one more look at what's going on in Standard right now. This Izzet Cauldron list has been tearing up a variety of events lately, Thanks to the recent printing of Vivi Ornitier, players have been combining the powerful mage with Agatha's Soul Cauldron to create devastating flurries of spells. With enough spell power, you can also put a copy of Voldaren Thrillseeker under the Cauldron to go for the kill. With Thrillseeker rotating in a week, it'll be interesting to see how the deck adapts, but even without that card, the deck seems poised to be a major player in the new Standard ahead.
