A Second Top 15 Cards from Edge of Eternities

Hello and happiest of Fridays to each of you and I hope your weekend goes well. Get some Friday Night Magic in! Or just play casually with Commander, multiplayer, Highlander, Five Color, Type Four and more! Get your MTG on. Today is my second look at casual play from the Sci-Fi new set called Edge of Eternities for the aforementioned casual formats and play. Last week I did my first Top 20 here so check it out!

Let's get this fun little shebang started!

Honorable Mention #1. (#19. Overall) - Emissary Escort

Emissary Escort

This two-drop Blue artifact dork with an okay 0/4 size is next! Its power is pumped by your biggest artifact! Solemn Simulacrum would pump it to 4/4 and Mind's Eye to a 5/4. Make sense? I love that with cheaper things with affinity and such like Myr Enforcer to be a 7/4. I'm sure you'll enjoy how either this will get broken fast or just grow over time as you drop Gilded Lotus or Spine of Ish Sah. Embrace the awesome with this fun little Robot Soldier.

Honorable Mention #2. (#18. Overall) - Pinnacle Emissary

This Izzet three-drop also artifact dork with the name "Emissary" is next! It's on curve at 3/3 and then when you cast the artifact spell, make a 1/1 flying Drone dork of the artifact persuasion but no blocking the ground stuff. Love this fun guy loads, but I wish he was legendary to try him out in Commander!

Honorable Mention #3. (#17. Overall) - Tannuk, Steadfast Second

However this fun four-drop Red dork is legendary! All of your other stuff gets haste, on a 3/5 body. A better Fervor on legs is always welcome, and then your red and artifact stuff has warp too, so he's the warp Commander in red to then punch above your weight. Even if you just use him as haste support in stuff alongside things that need it that's enough, and the warp is just gravy in most brews.

Honorable Mention #4. (#16. Overall) - Dyadrine, Synthesis Amalgam

Dyadrine, Synthesis Amalgam

This fun X-costed legendary dork in Selesnya colors with trample and then two to start and then size equal to the mana spent for all, including the first two mana! If you spend 1 X that would be a 3/4. Then when you swing with this trampling giant beast or other you can pull off a +1/+1 counter off two stuff and then draw and make a 2/2 Robot dork. That's a great take on Hydra and +1/+1 counter matters, and I am building around this next week, so check it out here in a few days!

#15. Pain for All

Pain for All

This fun Red Aura that costs three and can only enchant your dorks. Whatever was enchanted will shoot one thang for its power - note unlike most of those that's even players! Then when it eats that damage it'll ping your foes for that damage it took as well. Toss this onto indestructible dorks to keep it around for a while. Love this newly created Aura in a new space for Auras that's just good and can kill something on arrival so if removed it's not a card loss.

#14. Weftstalker Ardent

One card beloved by Commander and casual aficionados alike are the ability to ping all foes when your dork arrives to the battlefield like Purphoros and then this adds the same with artifacts too! This combines them with a three-drop 2/3 red uncommon and with warp too. Get it and run this fun little game-winner.

#13. Seedship Broodtender

You all know how much I and other casual players adore using our graveyard as a second hand and I've built a ton of Commander brews around it just recently - my favorite was this Five Color one. This two-drop on curve 2/3 Golgari would fit there tons. On arrival you mill three and then at sorcery spend five, sac this and then Zombify a dork or a Spacecraft back too. Note that doesn't tap so you can activate it right then and there! I adore this little Deuce Coupe.

#12. Elegy Acolyte

This four-drop on curve Black dork with lifelink has the ability to turn your combat damage intro card draw and a life loss too. Just once per damage no matter how many you have though. Then you can trigger void in your EOT and then make that sweet dork 2/2! For the beatings or saving you. Just drop this pre-combat, draw, and then make the dork by something dying or getting bounced or exiled.

#11. All-Fates Scroll

You all know how much I adore Manaliths. They tap for one mana of any color and then have another effect too! This one will sac for seven and then likely refill your hand by drawing your land count in cards with different names - get it and run it all night long!

#10. Pinnacle Starcage

This three-drop White costed artifact will ETB and then exile all cheap dorks and rocks on arrival until it leaves play. That will officially end the popular tokens out there like 2/2 stuff or Treasures and such since they won't come back. Then you can spend eight and sac this to bury them and then make a 2/2 Robot dork foreach of them dropped to the graveyard. Love that much!

Our halfway spot is this four-drop take on Doubling Season! It doubles all counters added to your dorks, and Spacecraft too. Note that's not just +1/+1 counters but all of them, but not planeswalkers either. It's got Warp too.

#8. Anticausal Vestige

Then this colorless Eldrazi is next. It costs six for a 7/5. Then it has warp and then a leaves play trigger to draw, drop a thang from your hand that costs your land size or less tapped. Love that much since it works with the warp exile trigger or bounce, kill, and tuck stuff too.

#7. Weftwalking

This six-drop mono-Blue enchantment is next! It has an ETB ability to Timetwister yourself! Then the first spell each player casts in their turn is free! Love that with yourself after you resolve the Timetwister, then I'd destroy or sacrifice it. Love this card draw potential, resetting and free stuff enabler loads!

#6. Haliya, Guided by Light

Haliya, Guided by Light

Everyone loves Soul Wardens, and there is an entire archetype for it called "Soul Sisters." This three-drop legendary White lady does that for your stuff only, but artifacts too - that's fine and dandy for candy. Then in your end step you get a free card draw for it if you gained at least 3 life this turn and then that's leading or in any of those brews too that have a White component.

#5. Famished Worldsire

This mono-Green eight-drop Green mythic with ward and devour land 3 is next. When it arrives, you dig equal to its size and then drop all lands revealed tapped. That doesn't have to be basics, so in most brews where lands are 24 in 60 or 40 in 100, that should swap a few basics you don't need for one or two more lands. You'll be up random lands and have a huge dork here - if you have 7 lands out when you drop it you could sac them all, make this a 21/21 and then easily get 9 or 10 lands back. Nice right? Also, with top of library sorting stuff like Scroll Rack or a great addition if in White - Land Tax - this is also great to abuse. Enjoy this fun little thing all up and down the block.

#4. Umbral Collar Zealot

Scry is way worse than surveil. We all know that. This on-curve two-drop 3/2 size uncommon Black one shows that off by sacrificing a dork for free to surveil 1. You can also sac an artifact this way, for stuff like Treasures. This is way better than Commander and Multiplayer Classic Viscera Seer and should largely replace it or supplement it in Aristocrat and Sac brews too. Get that dork or rock into your battlefield and then surveil too for either the best card or more graveyard filling stuff! I also love this in decks that use the graveyard to stop them from getting exiled to farms like Swords to Plowshares. Run it in so many brews it's crazy good.

#3. Terrasymbiosis

This fun newly made three-drop enchantment in Green is our fourth card. When you toss those +1/+1 counters onto your stuff you'll draw...that many cards! Are you kidding me? Nope? Huh. Sure, it's just once per turn, but any turn. That means if you drop Triskelion you'll draw three, or if you have the +1/+1 counter on each of your dorks when one arrives of Cathars' Crusade drawing you an epic amount of cardage as well. That's nasty good! Run this fun little counter-card drawer in all of those brews!

#2. Scour for Scrap

This four-mana uncommon speed instant is next, and it's all about adding in one or two options - the first is an instant speed artifact tutor like Fabricate for another mana - that's nasty at instant speed - worth it! Then you can Argivian Find one to your hand from your graveyard too - amazing with so many places. For example, if you have a combo with two artifact tutors to go off, you can tap out EOT to Tutor one, Recur the other back and then untap and drop them both. Or you can use that for artifact, Equipment, Combo, or any brew that uses Academy Ruins in this color already. Tutor for Sol Ring and recur Commander's Sphere to get three mana. Or just Commander and multiplayer good stuff like The One Ring and Skullclamp for card flow or Lightning Greaves to give your stuff haste and protect it. This would start restricted in Five Color, and then it is pretty good in all of the places. Enjoy the artifact fun times with this.

#1. The Planet Cycle

This land cycle is next! They arrive tapped, tap for one color of mana, and then can be pumped to 12 counters for their ultimate ability. Let's do this in color order. The White one taps with four to make a legendary copy of your artifact or enchantment so that's a one-of per at sorcery speed. Not bad for Voltron, Equipment, Aura, Pillow Fort, Group Hug, or Combo or win con kills. Then the Blue one is a broken banned Tolarian Academy that taps for mana equal to your artifact count! Ouch! Then the Black one also taps at sorcery speed with two mana to pay two life too, sac a dork and then draw to it's power in cards! That's nasty card flow.

The Red one that taps with two, sacs a land and then makes a 2/2 size Robot artifact dork and then your dorks get haste and +1 power this turn - great, but bad with the saccing lands for dorks although it can be instant speed to chump block or trade with the now 3/2. Then the last Green one is the broken Gaea's Cradle for 12 like the Blue one's above for dorks you control. The Green and Blue are nasty, the White is fine, the Black in power and sac brews, but the red one is pretty weak.
