Hello and happy days to each of you! Today I wanted to build a Spirit Deck! At first, I thought this would be good stuff for Five Color making Spirit Tokens that didn't block with Hei Bei again, but that brew would be similar, and then I thought abut Five Color with Morophon or something too instead. But let's push into just one color for you all in mono-Blue!
Here we go! This Air Elemental sized and costed flyer mythic is our leader! When he enters, we can tuck anyone's nonland into their library for a bit of tempo. Then when anyone adds cards to their library from anywhere, we can make 2 of those tokens - no limits either. He's the Tuck Commander, and then also works with Academy Ruins and such too!! It has to head there from somewhere else not the library, so scry doesn't work.
Mana, Ramp and Lands
Vessel of Endless Rest will reload any card to our library's bottom. Then that Mirrex can tap for Blue when it arrives untapped and then taps with three to make a 1/1 cannot block toxic win-con.
Lantern of Revealing taps with four to ramp the top card of our library tapped if it's a land, quite likely with our knowing top of my deck stuff. Then Patchwork Banner on arrival chooses a type and grows it's size like a Lord!
This three-drop Manalith also chooses a Spirit type and then taps with nothing to flash one this time! Love that here bunches. Then that land chooses Spirit, taps for that color of mana for them and then cannot be countered too.
The four-drop Mana Rock arrives tapped and then taps with any color of mana for our creature count we have!! Nasty good. Then the legendary land does the same for them, but here we have to choose a creature type not with the Tile.
Mystic Sanctuary ETBs and can reload a spell to our library's top if it arrives untapped for the trigger. Then Path of Ancestry ETBS tapped and then scries when we cast a Spirit with it. Now sure, that won't trigger us, but I still enjoy it much just for the ride.
Accursed Duneyard taps with two to regenerate our Spirits is first and great to skate too!! The uncommon land Ominous Cemetery can be self-exiled with a tap of five to shuffle a dork of anyone's into their brew. Then Nephalia Academy will let our discarded stuff head to our library's top this time like a Library of Leng.
This brew is built around Academy Ruins and has Expedition Map to get it. Then we can just keep using it over and over again to trigger our guy and make two dorks too while reloading. I love that first with the Map getting Three Tree or Nykthos for mad mana, and then whatever else is needed to. Then use the Ruins for cards from Mind Stone or other sac stuff too like Burnished Hart.
Synergies and Win-Cons
Next up are the synergy section!! That three-drop Monkey is next and it is another thesis dork here like the Ruins. When our non-token Spirits arrive? We make a free one of the 1/1 unblockable nature! Then we can invest four mana here over and over to make something get flickered. Like our leader or this too to trigger him and make a dork here too. Then that four-drop Saga starts with scry 2 and draw one twice, then we can on the third turn swap over to a Avatar dork with 4/3 size! Then as we cast anything? Make a 1/1 unblockable 1/1. You can waterbend him for 20 to Time Warp so that also had to be here too.
Next up are three Spirit dorks with synergies. The three-cost 2/1 flyer with flash Nebelgast Herald is here to have it or others arrives to tap an opposing dork. Then that one-drop on-curve 1/1 flyer Mausoleum Wanderer grows as other Spirits in its tribe arrive too as a win-con. Then you can sac him for countering a spell at this's power in cost. Then Shacklegeist only can block flyers, but then we can tap two of our Spirits to tap another dork.
The three-drop artifact can be tapped at sorcery speed with three to put someone's dork on their library's bottom and then reveal until a dork was revealed and it arrives, like a better and recursive Polymorph. Then that four-cost Spirit flying 2/3 is great in a card draw style since we'll make Clues for each foe of ours, and then when we draw our second card on any turn make a 1/1 flying Spirit too. That's not just our turn.
The three-drop Dutiful Knowledge Seeker can grow with a counter when triggered by our leader, and then spends three mana over and over again to toss any card from our graveyard to our library's bottom and then trigger both! Then that six-drop classic rare 5/5 Deadeye Navigator will arrive and soulbond, and we can spend two mana to flicker out either, and then we can get Baboon or Commander triggers if it's what we chose.
And now some game-winning Lords and pumps. Patrician Geist can pump the Spirit Team like an Anthem and then also acts as a Familiar to drop their cost by one too! Then the 1/3 Supreme Phantom one also increases their size, while the game-winning five-drop artifact Banner of Kinship calls them out when they arrive and then also grows them by their current size and then can win that turn!
The four-drop artifact gives our dorks the Spirit tribe so I added in creature lands and such too like Mirrex. You can also tap it with three to make a 2/2 changeling one too. And then the flying Wind Drake legendary Spirit gives herself and all other dorks of ours a free counter the first time they are targeted. Then that sorcery uncommon tutors an artifact. It's first here for the Map, but then or later it might be good for Coat or Nexus or Chimli and other great stuff too.
Next up are some artifact dorks that reload stuff from our graveyard to our library's bottom. The two-drop 0/4 Golem Tomb Trawler has a good blocking size and then is just two mana over and over again. Then the three-drop 2/3 Barkform Harvester also counts as a Spirit with that changeling and then two mana to reload and trigger my leader here too. Also check out Transplant Theorist that arrives with a four mana 2/4 body and then will ETB and another artifacts to Loot and then also two mana to reload again.
These two five-drops are next. The planeswalker with four loyalty is first, since as we draw cards his loyalty grows, and then we can 0 him to draw. Then he's here for that -2 to make a game-winning 2/2 Spirit vigilance or also to grow too with counters, and that -12 is feasible and then they shuffle a bunch of permanents from their battlefield to decks too. Also, good. Then that enchantment will arrive and choose a creature type of Spirit and now as we cast them more are made as copies!
Now let's turn to my last two added cards. The three-drop Aura enchants an artifact or dork of ours to make free copies of it on each turn as tokens come into play the first time and that many too!! Then that six-drop legendary artifact stops our spells from getting countered, not just instants or sorceries too. Then in our EOT we'll get a free discover 5 to draw or get a free spell - and that does trigger Wan Shi Tong as a heads up.
This four-drop 1/4 flying dork Tradewind Rider dominated Standard forever ago and then I ran it too. You can tap it and two other dorks to bounce one permanent - note that can be yours to save it or after blocking to bounce an attacker and it works on lands too. Then only it needs to hang out a turn, you can tap the others as they arrive! Then the four-drop enchantment Opposition lets us tap one of our untapped dorks to tap any land, artifact or dork of any bodies, so you can combine them to tap down opposing blockers and win. And again, you can use stuff that just arrives to swing with the stuff attackable.
Answers
And now let's turn to answers! We'll start with counters that tuck like Hinder here too. The two-cost instant first counters anything but tucks the top so they'll draw again. The three-cost one counters spells, and heads to the bottom of their library this time and this too. That four-drop flasher is last! When it enters, we tuck top or bottom of their library creatures or planeswalker spells.
Next up are two two-drop 2/1 flyers with flash Spirits are next to answer interaction and such. Spectral Adversary ETBs with two mana spent each as a sort of kicker and then phases them out to keep them alive and then grows in size with counters too. Then the latter Rattlechains gives a Spirit on arrival hexproof to answer targeted removal and also let's us flash out our Spirits too.
And now how about two mass sweepers that cost five each? Aetherspouts bounces attackers to the top or bottom of their library thus triggering our guy. Then Raise the Palisade will bounce all non-Spirits this turn.
Card Draw
And we'll finish with card draw! The first one I added was the two-drop above artifact that taps for one, and then trades X cards from our hand and library's top, so it had to be here constantly tapping and getting our Commander to work. I also tossed in Sensei's Divining Top too for the same. Then the four-drop artifact above in each player's draw step lets them tuck their hand to their library's bottom and then draws that amount too - great here to get our guy to trigger on everyone's turn! It'll also trigger the Teferi above and making the Investigator make 1/1 Spirits too.
And now let's turn to these two planeswalkers here too. The four-drop mega expensive overpowered and broke tons of formats is first! He has four abilities for four loyalty. That +2 fateseal isn't why he's here, that won't trigger our guy, but that 0 Brainstorm will. Then you can also -1 him to Unsummon a dork to protect our team. Then that six-drop five-loyalty is here because of that +2 to draw two and put one on the bottom of our library. You can also -2 him to make a win-con hand size doggie.
And now a three-set to take us home! The flashing Bird Spirit Wan Shi Tong, Librarian comes also with flying and vigilance. Nasty game winner, he'll draw half X and get that size in counters too, and then as our foes search draw a card and toss a counter here as if that weren't good enough!! Then Curiosity Crafter stops us from discarding and then our creature token damage draws us a card too. Nasty here! Then I tossed in Brainstorm on a stick Cavalier of Gales and then tons of the cards that draw our Spirit count too! The six-drop 6/6 Illusion Titan of Littjara becomes a Spirit on and then when it swings or ETbs to draw them. That's great with our two blinkers here too.

There we go! I really like the work here Kindred Discovery is doing here with mad card draw and tons more. Also, the Timetwister of Midnight Clock and the waterbending of Spirit Water Revival works, we could add in Chaos Wand like the Staff to be used over and over again too. There are tons more we could add like Brainstone, Lembas, the Eldrazi Titans that shuffle when they die, more tuck answers than just Submerge and another. Enjoy!
