Magic: The Gathering - Tactics is a video game for the PC and soon to be released for the Playstation 3. The game is developed by Sony Online Entertainment. It is a tactical turn-based game that utilizes the Magic: The Gathering property for theming and concepting of how the combat works. It was officially originally announced on Nov. 2nd, 2009. However it was first discovered as a name when Wizards filed for protection of the name with the US Patent & Trademark Office on Sep. 29, 2009.

Initially scheduled for release in June 2010, it was delayed until its official release on January 18th, 2011.
