Hello everyone. We've just started getting some previews of cards from Magic's June 2026 release, Marvel Super Heroes, a set not coming out for nearly 7 months. However, currently, we're in the heart of Avatar: The Last Airbender Standard, so let's take a look at a few 3-colored decks that you can use for fun against your friends or at a tournament at your local game store.
Mardu Greedy Gifts
We'll get started by taking a look at a deck that wants to give its opponent some terrible gifts.

- Creatures (4)
- 4 Iroh, Tea Master
- Instants (2)
- 2 Get Lost
- Sorceries (9)
- 2 Beseech the Mirror
- 3 Harmless Offering
- 4 Duress
- Enchantments (18)
- 2 Seam Rip
- 4 Demonic Pact
- 4 Greed's Gambit
- 4 Momentum Breaker
- 4 Nowhere to Run
- Artifacts (2)
- 2 Pinnacle Starcage
Demonic Pact is at the heart of this deck, offering four options that can only be chosen once, ranging from drawing cards to losing the game. The goal will be to give this enchantment to your opponent after you've chosen the 3 beneficial options, giving your opponent no choice but to lose the game. There are a few ways to give this card to your opponent including Harmless Offering and Iroh, Tea Master.
Iroh, Tea Master is another way you can win while playing this deck. By giving your opponent permanents that you control, you'll be able to create a 1/1 Ally that gains a number of +1/+1 counters equal to the number of permanents that you own that your opponent controls. While giving permanents to your opponent usually isn't a good thing, getting a massive creature out of the deal can certainly make it worthwhile.
Jeskai Warp
Next, I have a Jeskai deck for you that benefits from warping creatures onto the battlefield. Let's take a look at the deck.

- Creatures (20)
- 4 Exalted Sunborn
- 4 Momo, Friendly Flier
- 4 Nova Hellkite
- 4 Quantum Riddler
- 4 Voice of Victory
- Instants (4)
- 4 Full Bore
- Sorceries (4)
- 4 Molten Duplication
- Enchantments (4)
- 4 Frostcliff Siege
- Artifacts (4)
- 4 Doc Ock's Tentacles
Momo, Friendly Flier has a static ability that reduces the mana cost of the first non-Lemur creature you cast during each of your turns by one mana. Momo also gains a +1/+1 bonus whenever another creature you control with flying enters the battlefield. By taking advantage of each of these static abilities, you'll often be able to boost Momo each turn, flying in for some damage.
Exalted Sunborn, Nova Hellkite, and Quantum Riddler all have the ability to be warped into play. By using this alternate casting cost, you can gain their effect, plus trigger Momo. Later in the game, you can simply cast these creatures from exile, equipping Doc Ock's Tentacles for free, giving you a massive threat that you can use to win the game.
Temur Lessons
The next deck I have for you uses Lessons to gain an advantage over its opponent. Let's check it out.
Temur Lessons | TLA Standard | ACCILLESS, aetherhub.com user
- Creatures (18)
- 1 Sokka, Bold Boomeranger
- 1 The Lion-Turtle
- 2 Gran-Gran
- 2 Iroh, Grand Lotus
- 4 Dragonfly Swarm
- 4 Hermitic Herbalist
- 4 Ran and Shaw
- Instants (16)
- 4 Accumulate Wisdom
- 4 Combustion Technique
- 4 Firebending Lesson
- 4 It'll Quench Ya!
- Sorceries (2)
- 1 Boomerang Basics
- 1 Iroh's Demonstration
Iroh, Grand Lotus shows what makes him such a great teacher by giving all of the Lesson cards in your graveyard flashback 1 during your turn. Use that ability to draw lots of cards with Accumulate Wisdom or keep the battlefield free from threats with Combustion Technique or Firebending Lesson.
Ran and Shaw also benefit greatly by having a lot of Lesson cards in this deck. When you cast Ran and Shaw, if you have 3 or more Lesson cards in your graveyard when they enter the battlefield, you'll create a non-legendary token copy of Ran and Shaw. You can then attack with both Dragons, using the mana created by their firebending abilities to give Dragons you control +2/+0 until the end of the turn.
Abzan Combo
The final deck I have for you features a combo that can make things very difficult for your opponent to win. Let's take a look at the deck.
Abzan Combo | TLA Standard | ACCILLESS, aetherhub.com user
- Creatures (16)
- 1 Overlord of the Mistmoors
- 3 Overlord of the Hauntwoods
- 4 Badgermole Cub
- 4 Herald of Eternal Dawn
- 4 Llanowar Elves
- Instants (4)
- 4 Bitter Triumph
- Sorceries (10)
- 2 Lively Dirge
- 4 Day of Judgment
- 4 Perennation
- Artifacts (6)
- 1 The Irencrag
- 1 The Soul Stone
- 4 Collector's Vault
The goal of this deck is to get Herald of Eternal Dawn into play. Doing this will make it so that your opponent cannot win the game and you cannot lose the game, as long as Herald of Eternal Dawn is on the battlefield. Herald of Eternal Dawn has a 7 mana value, so it will be difficult to cast this creature until the later stages of the game.
That's where Perennation comes in. While this sorcery has only a slightly less mana value, coming in at 6, you'll often be able to cast it earlier with the help of Llanowar Elves and Badgermole Cub. Perennation lets you return a permanent from your graveyard to the battlefield with a hexproof counter and an indestructible counter on it. That will make removing Herald of Eternal Dawn from the battlefield extremely difficult, giving you the time you need to finish your opponent off.
Wrapping Up
3-color decks can be a lot of fun. With the amount of time cards are legal in Standard being so long, good mana bases become very easy to build. Take advantage of this while you can, because once rotation happens, things get reset and 3-color decks become much less reliable.
What do you think of these decks? Feel free to share this article with your friends anywhere on social media. And be sure to join me here again next week as I continue my search for innovative decks in Standard. I'll see you then!
