Additionally, if you're an MTG Arena player, here's a hot tip! If you find yourself playing on the Avatar board - something that will always show up when playing Avatar Limited - a cabbage cart will be toward the top of your screen, center-left. If you repeatedly click on it, it will whack out all the cabbages and break the stand! When you finish the game, you'll have a message in your inbox with a free cabbage pet for your client!

Arena Limited Championship Details Revealed
A few weeks back, Wizards of the Coast announced that there would be a major Limited Championship event every year! This would essentially be a Pro Tour level event with a focus solely on Limited play at the highest level. Now, earlier this week, MTG Arena released some details for what qualifier events will look like next year, relying on two separate best-of-one draft events. While no dates were provided, the info should give many players information to prepare themselves with going into 2026.
You can read the full announcement with all the details right here.

With the recent round of Standard bans and the release of Avatar: the Last Airbender, players everywhere are eager to see what does well. Not only are they looking for that, but they're also looking for new innovations. Right from the word "go," we're quickly seeing copies of Badgermole Cub and Wan Shi Tong, Librarian all over multiple formats - not just Standard.
This fourth place list from a Magic Online Challenge earlier this week is a great example of this. It utilizes Badgermole Cub and mana dorks to spit out huge threats that take over the game at breakneck speed. Many players were high on the Simic Aggro deck even before the bans, and this shows the deck can have some real potential going forward. Will we be looking at a meta full of Bagermoles and Owls soon?!
