Wizards sent out an email to their retailers providing some interesting information about the upcoming Mirrodin Besieged Pre-release and Game Day. The tip came from the MTGSalvation forum poster, jeff_vandenberg and his post on their forums.

The email linked to five different pages:

jeff_vandenberg highlighted some interesting points on his forum post:

• Prerelease/Launch Achievements [No official prize support, up to stores to do so]
• MBS Gameday will have Affiliation option again
• Planning for enough product for store prereleases to allow everyone to align with one faction
• All MBS product stores will recieve for the prerelease will be in the special split packs. (No regular MBS packs).
• This also means that prizes will be in split packs.
• Nothing affects the third set, the war and affiliation and such are just to foster a mood in a local area.
