A New Event Search Tool Unveiled
I'm back on the Modern RCQ grind this season, but ever since Spicerack was shut down, it's been difficult to find events.
Decided to build surveil.land over the weekend to help locate RCQs, Store Championships, and other competitive MTG events (like 5Ks) around the world.

A few weeks ago, fan favorite event search tool Spicerack (not to be confused with beloved creator Spice8Rack) was taken offline. The absence of this left a void for many players, including online user Kevin Yap.
Kevin, like many players, started having difficulty looking up big events like Regional Championship Qualifiers and Store Championships. Rather than just waiting around for a replacement to appear, he opted to make one himself. Thus, the new site surveil.land was born, providing everyone with a fantastic new way to find events.
Give it a try and find your next event today.

Typically, during these Decklist of the Week segments, I like to cover some of the more relevant formats your average person is going to play. With a lot of recent coverage for Standard and Modern and a lack of visible Marvel Super Heroes lists thus far, I figured it'd be fun to take a look at the sillier end of the spectrum, Legacy.
Tron is a deck you might be familiar with thanks to formats such as Modern and Pauper. This list takes the classic strategy and focuses a similar, yet unique, take all its own. If you know the current Modern builds, you'll probably recognize cards like Karn, the Great Creator (alongside the subsequent wishboard), Kozilek's Command, and Ugin, Eye of the Storm. Much of the rest, however, may look a bit unusual.
This version of Tron generates as much mana as it does thanks to powerhouses like Planar Nexus and Urza's Workshop. The mana generated by all these Lands has led to the deck asking you to play a full set of Candelabra of Tawnos, thus explaining the deck's mind-boggling price tag. Thankfully, that's less of an issue on Magic Online where the deck thrives, making for a neat curiosity.
