Simic all Colors Vivid with Tam, Mindful First-Year in Commander

Hello all and happiest of days to each of you! I hope your day is going as well as possible. Today I am doing my first brew around a dork from Lorwyn Eclipsed in this case a certain Simic lady who gives our stuff hexproof for their colors and then taps to make something all colors on the flip side of stuff.

Tam, Mindful First-Year

She is basically the Vivid leader to make one thing all colors on a cheap and efficient two-drop Bear body and then that tap doesn't need mana. She's the breaker of all things targeted removal or vivid in her colors like Bloom Tender, retroactively given that ability and in her set too. And here too.

Let's get started!

My Mana Makers, Lands and Spells

We'll get started with this two-set. The three-drop Mana Dork is first! You can tap it for a mana and then again for nothing to change the colors of some dork this turn to whatever we need. Please note that's other controllers there too. And then that four-drop enchantment arrives with a Vivid ability to search our color count of basics to our hand and then also is an Exploration too to drop one more per turn.

Three generic mana for Patriar's Seal and then we can tap it for a mana to untap our legendary dork. Then that three-drop mythic Green Ancient Cornucopia also arrives and taps for any color of mana! Then we can gain life for each color of stuff we cast each turn but only once/turn.

And now let's finish non-lands with solid untappers with a cost. The two-drop pro-Blue 1/1 Scryb Ranger is great to flash out and block Blue flyers. You can also bounce a Forest to untap a dork once/turn, and Quirion Ranger does the same with nothing else. These are in my mana section for a few reasons - first, by bouncing a land we can do it after tapping it to keep up if we don't have the land in hand. Secondly, we can untap a mana dork like Bloom Tender or Birds, or just untap our leader too.

And now some lands proper. I am sorry cost and budget fans about that legendary land that arrives untapped above and taps for Blue. It taps to untap our legendary thang, and had to be here like the Seal, but you can skip it if that's too pricey to you. Then the Green tapper can arrive untapped at times and then taps to earthbend 2 with three mana.

Mistrise Village also can ETB untapped and then taps with one Blue to make our next spell cast this turn uncounterable. Then Alchemist's Refuge taps with two Simic mana to make our spells castable with flash this turn, and then that's great with the first one making a hard to answer dork or artifact outta nowhere uncounterable too.

Multiversal Passage chooses a land type and arrives as it, and then untapped with two mana too. That's great early for the right color and late for others. Then the two-drop land Aura Shimmerwilds Growth arrives and we choose a color and the land is that color and then adds it too when tapped. That guarantees those colors are here too.

Synergies and Win-Cons

And now synergies and win-cons arrive and most vivid things too. That six-cost sorcery will make a 5/5 dork for each color we've got! Then we can gain our creature count in life. That's amazing here. Then that seven-drop trample on curve 7/7 one with vivid digs our deck's that many cards, and then free drop them if permanents onto the battlefield. Nasty - and that's for an easily abused ETB trigger too.

Next up are these two game-winner vivid bodies. The Simic uncommon Ouphe five-drop 1/4 has a free Giant Growth each combat our vivid count and then the later Elemental uncommon costs one more for an on-curve 6/6 trampler beater with an ETB here too to pump our vivid size and then that many dorks too.

And now how about some synergies. The artifact twelve-drop 4/4 Scion of Draco with a cheaper Domain cost is here. Then if our creatures are each color they'll be vigilance if White, hexproof if Blue, first strike if red, trample if Green and lifelink if Black. All great stuff here as we shift and change colors. Then that three-drop 2/4 Elf Formidable Speaker arrives with a discard and then tutor a dork to our hand if so! Then we can tap it with a mana to untap our goods. That's anything, not just legendary stuff too from dorks to lands.

And next up are two dorks that shift colors. Swirling Spriggan can turn with two Simic mana any of our dorks to any number of colors. Then that flashing 2/1 Prismwake Merrow will make anything any colors too. That's here to be a surprise and works for any permanent even our foes. And then we can make them Blue for the Ranger above or tons of stuff we'll see later.

And now, the pumps! That two-drop Equipment equips for two and then pumps our dork by our colors on the board! Then our foes cannot cast stuff with this out too on our turn, nasty. Then the one-drop one equip one will pump our dork's power by its color cost. Both here are brilliant to make fast and ongoing problems to fix!

We've got a lot of dorks with abilities that tap. We aren't in Red to give them haste and Lightning Greaves is too mean and isn't here either. Enter the three-drop artifact Thousand-Year Elixir that lets them tap on their arrival! Then we can tap this too with a mana to untap those precious dorks. Then that on-curve Kiora's Follower can tap with no mana to untap anything from lands to rocks.

That Horror double pumps our Green and Blue dorks! Then we can untap them each other players untap, and then make our colorless stuff untap too. Or make them get pumped superfast too. Then that 2/4 lad let us cast multicolored spell with convoke, and then is all colors too.

Bring to Light costs five and then has converge. We can tutor for what we spent in colors for its cast and then cast it for free, hence it being here! I also tossed in tons of Swords of X and Y too to give their foes its color and then swing through for the combat damage trigger, like Feast and Famine.

Next up is answers for your stuff. Those Simic counters are nice for twice! The dork with flash is a Bear four-drop that counters and sticks as two colors too. Then that three-cost rare will counter anything from spells to abilities. And two colors for the triggers too.

The six-cost sorcery Govern the Guildless steals a monocolored dork from our foes. Then we can forecast to change the colors for two mana and change the colors of any one dork, and then the colors of ours too. And Sword of Sinew and Steel there with two and then pro Black or Red and then when it punches their person you can destroys a planeswalker and artifact too.

The Simic split card can Prismatic Lace a thing or three-cost to Shatter an artifact. Then that four-cost sorcery Blue uncommon chooses a color and bounces them! Here you can make their key stuff that color to clear out, and note that's not dorks either, but all of them!

And now, how about some card draw. That two-cost artifact arrives and you draw and then make this the chosen color. Then tap it with three to draw if we've got all of the colors from purple to orange! Then that six-drop 3/3 flyer arrives with vivid and then draws cards equal to our color count here too.

Next up are these two combat damage card drawers. The Equipment gives pro Red and Blue and then Shocks and draws cards too on arrival. Then the three-drop 1/1 islandwalker Merfolk has a combat damage trigger to draw our damage dealt.

The cute Squirrel Toski, Bearer of Secrets was the last card I added. It's got uncounterable and indestructible too. It must swing each turn and then each dork that deals damage to our foes draws us cards. Yay for that and then I checked and saw there were 62 cards and stopped adding stuff.

There we go! I hope you enjoyed my first Lorwyn Eclipsed brew! There are tons of nice options here like Indio Faerie and Lens. You could add in Alchor's Tomb or Fylmarid or such too. Love it, but there are some pricey cards we could pull like Minamo and some Swords and such. Enjoy it too.
