It finally happened. After years of both Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering being published by Wizards of the Coast a roleplaying game supplement based on a Magic plane has been published.

Plane Shift: Zendikar was released today as a free PDF download. It is designed to be played with the Fifth Edition of Dungeons & Dragons and operates "as a sort of supplement to The Art of Magic: The Gathering—Zendikar".

This so called "crossing of the streams", if successful, opens up the possibility of similar supplements. But for now it provides a new way to experience the wonderful worlds of Magic.
