1,085 players showed up to crack Theros packs in Oklahoma City in the first premier event featuring Theros limited. After nine rounds of Sealed, 130 players returned for the draft portion on Day Two. After an additional six rounds of draft, the eight players sat down for the last draft of the weekend.

It's early in the format, but Black and Green seem to be two of the more powerful colors, with each deck in the Top 4 featuring at least one of these colors. The finals featured a green mirror between Pierre-Chrisophe Mondon's Black-Green deck featuring hits like Nylea, God of the Hunt and John Penick's Blue-Green deck with Mistcutter Hydra. The pair battled back and forth for the full three games before Pierre-Christophe Mondon took down the third and final game.
