Locations
Tokens are one of my favorite parts of this game, because they're so customizable. Some people use official Magic: The Gathering tokens. Some people use physical objects, like dice or coins (aka Treasures).
Secrets of Strixhaven is just around the corner, with preorders already available here on CoolStuffInc. We like to do a cool little token here each set to represent our wonderful creators here. So, for Secrets of Strixhaven, we've got this phenomenal 4/4 Elemental token to represent Zbexx, which is included for free with all Secrets of Strixhaven preorders!
Who is Zbexx?
Zenaide Beckham, or Zbexx, is featured on our Elemental token. She's most famous in the TCG community as a content creator for Magic: The Gathering and Disney Lorcana.
With her background in dance, music, and sewing, she found that Magic was the perfect creative outlet. She often enjoys deck-building (arguably the most creative thing you can do in Magic), and ended up cosplaying some of her favorite cards. Recently, she's been cosplaying the art from various Instants, such as the Secrets of Strixhaven Special Guests Force of Will.
She even had two official preview cards from Wizards of the Coast for Secrets of Strixhaven, with Thunderdrum Soloist and Artistic Process. During the last visit to Strixhaven for Strixhaven: School of Mages, she was well known for cosplaying Nassari, Dean of Expression (the backside of Uvilda, Dean of Protection), representing the College of Prismari perfectly!

The Token Itself
This 4/4 token is a Blue and Red Elemental token, which made a big splash in Strixhaven: School of Mages, the original Strixhaven set. Cards like Magma Opus, Mascot Exhibition, and Elemental Masterpiece all create that token, with Magma Opus even being found in the Prismari Commander Precon for Secrets of Strixhaven Commander.
On the front side, you'll notice that Zbexx is with a wonderful pupper named Halo! We love dogs here, and Halo is Blue and Red because Halo is the Elemental!
On the backside, you'll find a Zbexx cheat sheet (get it, because we're in school), where you can learn a little more about her.
The art for this token was commissioned and hand-painted by none other than Andre Garcia, who also did the art for Spice8Rack's token from Lorwyn Eclipsed and MTGNerdGirl's token from Avatar: the Last Airbender. Andre worked with Zbexx throughout the creation of the token and she approved throughout the entire process.

Secrets of Strixhaven releases worldwide on April 24th, 2026, and you can get all of your preorders right here on CoolStuffInc. Certain products, like Play Booster Boxes, Draft Night Boxes, Commander Decks, and even Singles ship out even earlier on April 17th. I recommend getting your orders in before they sell out, because this set is shaping up to be nothing but absolute hype.
Final Thoughts
I personally align with both the Prismari and Quandrix colleges, so I'm really looking forward to figuring out what my next two Commander decks are going to be. Zbexx and I share a love of Prismari and dogs, so you can be sure that I'm going to be doing my best to sling that token. Zaffai and the Tempests can cast Magma Opus for free, so I think we'll lean there, for starters. Thanks for reading, see you next time!
