First off, let me wish you all a very happy new year, and here's hoping your best day of 2007 is worse than your worst day of 2008!

Secondly, obviously, we're missing this week. Unfortunately I came down with a horrible stomach bug which ripped through me on Christmas Eve and which I am still recovering from, so episode 14 has been pushed back until next week. Part of our production value is that unfortunately time is very unforgiving and if we miss a shooting date it puts a major monkey wrench in the whole works, a weakness we're hoping to address in the coming months.

Next week will feature an overview of Extended, aimed at being a broad blast to help anyone from Timmy to Spike to get their feet wet and ready for the upcoming PTQ season. Expect an intro to the format and an overview of the main decks in the field.
