Marvel Super Heroes Previews Begin

This week saw the start of the preview season for the next Magic: the Gathering expansion, Marvel Super Heroes. The previews began on Tuesday with the Debut Stream taking place via WeeklyMTG and have continued every day since.
Week one has been focused almost entirely on cards from the main set. Next week will lean into the four Commander decks, the remaining Source Material cards, and the set's Jumpstart release.
In addition to the previews, we got some word of delays impacting select regions in different ways. For those in the United States, these affect Jumpstart packs, Bundles, Welcome Decks, and Commander decks, both regular and Collector's alike.
If you'd like to keep up on the previews as they come out, be sure to check out CoolStuffInc every day. I'm providing coverage for every day of previews for Marvel Super Heroes and new cards are posted to the site as they're revealed.
Prereleases start on June 19th, so be sure to check with your local game store and lock in your registration today.
Arena Limited Championship Qualifiers This Weekend

One of the biggest elements of Competitive play in 2026 has easily been the introduction of the Limited Championship and its respective qualifier events. These events frequently cap at major paper events and provide players with a way to shoot for an all-Limited Pro Tour caliber event in 2027.
In addition to these paper events, MTG Arena will host their own dedicated digital-only Limited Championship event next year. Qualifiers for this event will be taking place this weekend on the Arena client, so if you're itching to play some Limited at the highest level, now's your chance. Good luck, and may all of your sealed pools be filled with bombs.

After nearly three decades in the works, Mark Rosewater's new trading card game, Mood Swings, is out now via Secret Lair. This game is meant to be a light, breezy game to be played between rounds of Magic and utilizes select elements to create it. These include sketch art and even the color pie.
First Edition prototype copies are currently on sale and still appear to be available at the time of writing. They're expected to ship out starting today and sell for $24.99 each or as a bundle of five for $119.99.
Check it out and see what all the buzz is about!

It's yet another week in Regional Championship season as RC Washington DC took place this past weekend. Nearly 1200 players descended upon the US capital city to play two days of high-level Standard play. After weeks of decks like Izzet Prowess and Landfall dominating the meta, players were wary about what the results would look like this time around.
This time, though, an underdog came out on top. Jordan Selesnick piloted a copy of Azorius Momo all the way to first place, beating out Landfall in the finals. This deck utilizes Momo, Friendly Flier to cast lots of sweet Creatures with Flying for cheap, providing a fast clock while also doing silly blink and bounce things along the way.
Congratulations Jordan on the victory!
