I am, as a rule, Artifacts > Enchantments. Kill a Creature with a Sword? Sword sticks around. Kill a Creature with an Aura? Aura dies too. Artifacts have strong reanimation capabilities, also - they're easy to return from the Graveyard. Not to mention Artifacts are often colorless and useful across most decks, where Enchantments are almost always tied to a color identity.
That's not to say I won't use Enchantments, and they're undoubtably powerful. Imagine my surprise, then, when perusing the Spider-Man card image gallery, I noticed a good number of powerful Enchantments which I would like to use. Let's take a look at some of the highlights.
This is a powerful effect in many different archetypes. Tokens and Aristocrats are both interested in this effect, but it's a compelling idea in a Voltron deck. It's also a nice use of excess mana, which is always a good thing. Even if it just means you eat one of their chump blockers, it still cost them something for your two mana (one to activate, one for the Land the Aura is on).
This is a one-mana, repeating card draw effect in White.
I'm sorry, you clearly didn't hear me.

Hoops? Sure. We have to make sure we can tap a couple of tokens or Treasures, but surely we can afford that. It won't go in every White deck, but it'll go in a lot of them. This and Friendly Neighborhood are both going to find homes in my Ellyn Harbreeze, Busybody deck I built a while back.
Some decks want this effect. Them that do really want it, and are willing to deal with (or even turn into an advantage) the Pariah effect. Or just slap it on a Stuffy Doll and laugh maniacally, since you're obviously a supervillain if you do that.

Can we just talk about how beautiful this alt-art print of Rest in Peace is?

I'm really excited about this card, and I think Sagas and comic-style layouts are a clear fit. This card looks great, is readable, and should play great in the right shell. It digs you three cards, leaves a token of a great Creature, and replaces itself for four mana. That's a deal.
Somewhere a Blue mage is rubbing their hands together, cackling at the puzzle that will be breaking this card apart. An extra Consecrated Sphinx every turn seems like a reasonable use of this card. Or Sharuum the Hegemon. Every turn return another Artifact? Seems good.
There's a beautiful comic rendering of this card, but I actually prefer this; it's starker. You can tell just by Spidey's expressionless mask something is wrong. And it is - these are three things I want to be doing in a lot of my {B} decks. Kill stuff? Yup. Force a nasty choice? Check. Take away my opponents' resources? Yup, that too. Not to mention it's easier to cast than Murder.
Sometimes a Dark Confidant is just what the doctor ordered, and this is so much more. Sure, it can be a (painful) card draw engine, but it can also be a potent weapon. Got a weenie player at the table? Stack your deck so you reveal some massive Demon and they reveal some silly weenie two-mana whatever. We lose two and get the Demon, they lose eight and get a weenie. Sounds like a proper deal.

One of the best uses of the comic layout, and absolutely appropriate for the card. Goad everything. Grab some extra mana to do something really stupid. Then throw a cherry bomb under everyone's chair. These are all things I want to do. Combine with Blasphemous Act for Even More Maximum Carnage.
I'm grouping these because it's what they have in common which makes them particularly interesting. The Legend rule thing for Spiders is fine in this set, I suppose, but otherwise isn't that exciting. And Shadow of the Goblin's rummage is solid, a way to dig reliably, but not worth much of a mention.
It's the caring about playing cards from places other than your hand that's compelling. Red is doing more and more "Exile-then-you-can-cast-it-from-Exile-until-whenever" stuff, and now we're getting stuff to encourage us to do this, even make it a sub-theme. The idea of leaning even harder into the chaos of mono-Red sounds like a lot of fun.

Admit it. This is the best Goblin Bombardment art ever. It's better than the Wilds of Eldraine one and Cow-tapult. It's better than the Secret Lair drop with the line drawings. It's the best.
Let's just not talk about the movie, okay? But Kraven's Last Hunt is solid. We have a four-mana kill spell in mono-Green (assuming you do it correctly, of course), then it pumps something, then it resurrects that same huge thing we used to kill the other thing? It's not game breaking, but a solid role-player which will certainly be considered in a lot of shells.
Finally, Web of Life and Destiny is saving the very best for last. This card is bonkers. Don't like the price? Make it cheaper with Convoke! Want to find the best Creature in the top five of your Library? Step right up! Want to put in on the Battlefield without paying for it? Go for it! Green Stompy decks everywhere rejoiced, as did, quite possibly, my Xenagos, God of Revels I built many, many years ago now. Heck, even if grabs whatever Overrun effect on a Creature you've got near the top in your tokens deck, or pulls another Power buff in your Elves Kindred deck, it'll almost certainly do excellent work. Lurking Predators is powerful. This is powerfuller.
I'd love to hear what you have to say about these cards! I'm suggesting Instagram as a way to respond. And if you like this kind of article, let us know! That's a good reason to keep creating content you actually want.
Thanks for reading.
